Higgy on his way out of town!?

When reading the article on nhl.com about JB and Miller (trading rumours) it also stated that;

"Linden, who was also on hand Thursday, said the Canucks have been trying to trade forward Chris Higgins, but haven't found anyone willing to take on his contract. He has two years at $2.5 million each remaining on a four-year contract."

Sooo... I guess his days are numbered!? What do you guys think? Good or bad? Can we find a team which will be willing to grab the hefty pay check? And if so, for what in return?

Forgot to add my own point of view: If traded, it should be for a pick, and for opening up a roster spot for one of the young guys, not a new player...

Just a quick serious question, do you know there is a forum specifically designed for trades rumours and signings?

I'm seriously not trying to be sarcastic, I'm just curious to see if you are aware.

Great glue guy, but that is pure media speculation. Give them no attention and the parasites quiet down.

That being said....I'd be fine with Higgins getting traded. He's taking up valuable space that a younger player can use.

Thank you Christopher. Excellent beard.

Farewell and adieu to you, Christopher Higgins. Say hi to the fair Spanish ladies.

The market must be really low for a team not to want a 2.5 million PK specialist. Given with how slow the FA period is, I can see why. Trading higgins should be a priority, we have a lot of depth on the left side and could use that spot for our younger players.

The more I think about it, the more i think the calgary series cost us quite a bit of value. Eddie didnt perform, and we get a low pick. Higgins and the PK unit were not good either, i guess teams think he is done.

Or maybe teams know Nucks need to free up roster spots for the youngsters and thus don't want to pay the going rate...

In what world does...

...mean higgy is being shipped out? To me it looks like exactly the opposite, and nobody wants him.
