BlackRedYellow Posted July 11, 2015 Share Posted July 11, 2015 When reading the article on nhl.com about JB and Miller (trading rumours) it also stated that; "Linden, who was also on hand Thursday, said the Canucks have been trying to trade forward Chris Higgins, but haven't found anyone willing to take on his contract. He has two years at $2.5 million each remaining on a four-year contract." Sooo... I guess his days are numbered!? What do you guys think? Good or bad? Can we find a team which will be willing to grab the hefty pay check? And if so, for what in return? Forgot to add my own point of view: If traded, it should be for a pick, and for opening up a roster spot for one of the young guys, not a new player... Trading higgins should be a priority, we have a lot of depth on the left side and could use that spot for our younger players. The more I think about it, the more i think the calgary series cost us quite a bit of value. Eddie didnt perform, and we get a low pick.
