The gaming industry will just not be the same without Iwata. You will be missed, friend.
The Weasel
I just saw that on FB a little while ago. Nintendo will always be #1 for me in terms of fun. I was playing some mario kart 64 and donkey kong country on my laptop a couple weeks ago. Still amazing. RIP

Fateless
Nintendo was the real gateway drug into gaming. Nothing beat the N64 in its hayday. I've never played a game as many times as I played Starfox 64 and Jetforce Gemini.
The Weasel
Nintendo was the real gateway drug into gaming. Nothing beat the N64 in its hayday. I've never played a game as many times as I played Starfox 64 and Jetforce Gemini. Perfect Dark and No Mercy were two of my favourites. I liked having computer sims in multiplayer. Farsight XR-20. The Slayer's fly-by-wire rocket reminds me of a drone. Starfox 64 was the first video game I ever beat. haha. i remember being so impressed because the characters actually talked in the game. Jam126
He was the one who got me into gaming, I'll never forget his charm and famous quotes. He was also one of the very few executives who was actually a gamer at heart. R.I.P. Iwata You will be greatly missed by all of us Nintendo fans... -AJ-
I've heard of the name, but can't place his former role at Nintendo. Was he the creator of a series or specific system? EDIT: Wait he was the CEO? Dang, that's a huge deal. Probably won't spell good news for Nintendo's stock.

Mustapha
Sad news indeed. I played many of the games he was involved in growing up...going all the way back to the NES.
