saucypass
Totally forgot about Tierney. Dude just turned 21 and scored at just a a point under 0.5 PPG in his first NHL season debut. Kid will be good. Edit: Spelling.

Baer.
Also far more likely to be a RW who occasionally fills in at C IMO Yes, in fact, NHL.com, HockeyDB and Hockey-Reference all have him listed as RW.
Canuck Surfer
Good list, but everyone seems to be forgetting LINDEN VEY. Are u projecting Vey in the same conversation as Horvat, or RNH for example?
coastal1
Kopitar and Getzlaf will still be pretty good for a while.Yes but the average Canucks fan has put a big X on the next 8 years-- rebuild! So those years don't exist.

coastal1
8 years??? This is not Edmonton my friend.Well it does look like many fans want the Edmonton model here. I see lots of talk of trading Hamhuis and Miller and even the Sedins, and Burrows... Is that not the Edmonton model?
Blueberries
1)McDavid 2)Horvat 3)Monahan 4)Bennett 5)McCann 6)RNH 7)Strome 8)Cassels 9)Rakell
TOMapleLaughs
Um, Kopitar is only 27. Getzlaf 30. Carter. Pavelski. I mean, they are older than all those rooks, but... They're not quite dead yet. Certainly they'll be mentioned as among the top for most of the upcoming decade. This seems like such an HF thread.

I see lots of talk of trading Hamhuis and Miller and even the Sedins, and Burrows... Is that not the Edmonton model? Not me. Hamhuis and Miller will walk in F/A. Sedins and Burrows will retire Canucks. Simple. People just upset cause we don't get 1st found picks for every player that leaves this team... Van bc
Let's make some deals with Edmonton and pry some of that talent at center away from them. Wow talk about a 1 2 3 punch at center. We should have something worth trading for one of those 3 centers well then again maybe not. Maybe we could get one those wingers they look golden too
homersexual
wow, lots of love for Cassels and McCann both whom are probably at least 2-3 years from making the team, if at all. of course there will be potential good centers in this year and next years draft. Fanuck
Pretty heavy homer bias thinking we'll have 2 or 3 of the divisions best centers. Also, I don't see Edmonton keeping their core together in 5 years. After the Nurse, Mc Jesus, Drais, Reinhart ELC run out, combined with existing contracts on the books.....good luck with the cap. A new stadium isn't going to fix that looming situation.
