Wow... If there was ever a year to start the season 5-0 it's this year.

Pummel the sorry flames, then take it to Cali and watch Miller shutout the team that played horrible defense in front of him.

Not looking forward to the horrible coverage on the 34 national broadcasts.

Hope we see Garrett as much as possible.

I thought this game was supposed to be on the island in North Saanich area? Is that not part of the plans anymore? I was really excited to see a Canuck game at home.

I wouldn't underestimate the Flames. The Sharks and the 'Yotes, sure, they should be relatively easy (though the Canucks do have a tendency to play down to opponents). The Flames improved a lot over the off-season, so I expect it won't be easy. That said, they will certainly be entertaining games, given the newly re-grown rivalry.

Its still is scheduled for Saanich. Its just the Canucks will be the home team.

I think they're playing in Juan de Fuca rec centre now, not Panorama.

Pummel the Flames? They must be in stitches out there in Calgary, if they saw this.

pretty standard. i think it's been 8 every year for the last several with the possible exception of last year being 7.

i could be wrong but i don't care enough to check.

Lol, me neither. Though I could have sworn last year was 6 1/2 (the home and home games with San Jose).

Lintanen is correct. The game will be played in Colwood at the Q Centre, formerly Bear Mountain Arena.

Good info and I think its important that not all the the games the are televised nationally will be called by the Hughsons, Randorfs, Coles and Romanuks of the world. Pretty Sure Shorthouse/Garrett did some of those games last year.
