Lol nah I just let the ellipses run. You're right though, I should've added the 4th period to signify that there wasn't something else coming. I'm just yanking your chain anyways, and the guys that harp on you are likely the ones that continuously start new threads without using that handy little search engine.

The search has been broken for a little while now, so I won't fault someone for not finding a similar thread in Canucks Talk from a month ago. The prospects forum is pretty well organized though and even comes with a directory, so people should know to look there.

Why the hell would I want to discuss one player in two different places?

Just goes to show you how little I use said handy search engine lol. But yes good point, doesn't really make sense and not only that you may miss some interesting or informative information by making up multiple threads of the same thing.

that fight was such a bummer. I was at the game and I was telling my friends about how tough Pedan was. Leading up to that game he was beating all of his opponents soundly. the crowd went crazy for a second and then realized Andre was hurt and it got eerily quiet. Other than that, it was a really good game!

He was buried in the NYI farm system and didn't look good early on, but the coaching staff in Utica really turned him around into good prospect. Benning originally projected him to be a couple years out from the NHL, but Green said he expects to see him called up this coming year at some point.

Is Pedan healthy enough for training camp this fall?

He was back practicing with the team during the playoffs, so would think so.

Yes he was cleared to play well before the playoffs ended, so presumably he was not suffering any symptoms. But bad concussions like he had usually cause some long run damage or at least increase the likelihood of future concussions. He should forget about being a fighter. He appears to have the talent to be an NHL defenceman and his size and strength could contribute a lot even if he does not fight.

I was thinking he could see time with the Canucks this year, especially with Clendening gone. If Hammer is traded at the deadline it would not surprise me to see him get a shot.

I was wondering what has happened to big tough Pedan... I looked for news about injury after fight but Vancouver kept things quiet..

Great to hear he was skating with team in playoffs...He will be great playing in Vancouver for many years...

He will be back fighting, just got caught with lucky punch early...If linesman would of broke fight up right when you could see he was hurt...

Fighter like Pedan don't want to lose so he thought he could beat this guy up...

All good excited to See Pedan and Hutton play in Vancouver soon..

WOW ... this kid has some serious foot speed plus a great shot.  I'm thinking his winning the fastest skater and hardest shot awards were no fluke.

I hope he gets comfortable with the big club this year and can showcase some of these skills.

His reading of the play still needs work. His play with the puck needs just as much work. Patience is in his cards with this guy . Yes, he's beyond tough as bails but he needs time.

Pedan is actually from Lithuania originally.

He must speak Russian because he translated for MR.T didn't he ? And if so bring he up just to help develop MR.T , he was used as fourth line winger and even if he is in the press box each day would help Tryamkin  adjust. Plus Pedan being up here with the training staff and facilities is going to fill out quicker.

Pedan is on the team as a fourth line bopper. If he wants to play in the best league in the world, collect a nice fat cheque, and live the NHLer's life of luxury, he needs to embrace that role.  Plus, we really need him to play that role.  It's a perfect win for him, and win for the team.

During the era of the USSR all USSR members were required to speak Russian, hence for instance Chancellor Merkel also speaks Russian ( she was from East Germany ) It was good from the Russian perspective because it was intended to and has in fact caused a lot of disidents in what is now Eastern Europe ( Georgia, Crimea Ukraine etc )
