Angry Goose
I love most HBO series, westerns, but didn't really get into Deadwood? Weird, I should give it another shot. Oz was the first HBO series I really got into

Baer.
HBO is usually full of malarky but this seems interesting I will have to see if I can find the first 3 seasons online.
Kryten
Deadwood is hands down the greatest TV show ever IMO. That being said, it should be left alone. Revivals like these rarely go well, Deadwood was just too good, and the good die young. HBO, please do not do to this show, what Netflix did to Arrested Development. falcon45ca
DEADWOOD! Haven't heard "cocksucker" on TV in a long time, it's in desperate need of a return to the limelight.

gmen81
Never seen Deadwood. Heard it's pretty good, might have to check it out. Have seen The Wire and I liked it, but wouldn't say it's the greatest show ever.

GLASSJAW
my first two run-throughs of the show, I really disliked EB Farnum. he was just too weasel-y for me. But now I think he's probably my favourite character (behind Al, of course). he's just so funny and wonderfully acted. one of his great monologues (of which there are many): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUrt1Yomtho

GLASSJAW
Calamity Jane for me... I also liked Gerald McRaney and Powers Booth as bad guys. (and you know they're bad, when they make Al look like a good guy ) totally. I think Hearst is legitimately one of the most terrifying bad guys in TV history. he is vicious. I have always wondered how the Hearst family was in the real world? or if the line took exception to their great grandfather being portrayed so viciously? I think the Hearst family still owns a number of newspapers/media spots in North America... this is probably my fav. Hearst scene. the "My proper traffic is with the Earth..." line is flooring! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbYDNxaK3W4
