You look like a banana though.  Anyway, a large ant - pencil sized - would carry you off to its hill, where his buddy giant ants would turn you into building materials.  :o

i agree with with you about Subban.  He needs to provide some exceptional offence to be in the NHL.

He needs to be a horse jockey or join the circus.

Have to wonder though with Stetcher, Nilsson and Neill all RHD, whether this might displace Subban in the near future.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was moved for picks or a scoring forward prospect.

I believe Nilsson hurts Carl Neills AHL chances, he will most likely go to Alaska. Just like cedarholm

It's pretty clear he's loading up on guys for that 'complimentary, offensive 6th D' spot and is going to let the best man win. With luck one of them maybe even emerges as good enough to be a #4.

Stecher might stick, but it's definitely only one of Subban, Larsen, or Nilsson.

With our D situation as it is so crowded I think it's time to switch J Subban to forward this year in Utica. I think he could be a great utility player who could then be moved up and down the line up.

Let him learn one position first.

He sucks at D.

He is way too small to be a 4th liner.

Why dont you you guys cool it on the Subban stuff.

He was a wish in the wind to begin with.

Benning has made it clear by signing a bunch of guys ahead of him that he isn't in the plans.

Not that it matters or is a surprise because he was a very low pick and a total gamble, but more and more it is looking like he isn't getting his shot here in Van.

I wont call him a bust, yet, but hopefully he can get traded to a team that can try to use him.

He is a bust for Vancouver tho

I agree with you that as a 4th round pick he was a "wish in the wind" as you say. However, I wouldn't say that Benning has made it clear he's isn't in the plans by some of his signings. I'm not sure what signings you are talking about. Larsen was signed to push for a spot this year, and it is only a 1 year deal. Stecher was arguably the top college free agent and a local kid. Adds depth and is an asset if a move needs to be made. Probably a year or 2 away from the bigs. Chad Billins and Tom Nillson are help for Utica. Biega earned his contract, and don't think he'd stand in Subban's way once he's ready. After a solid pro rookie season, I would say Subban is right where management would hope he would be. Most people would probably have said he would probably be at least 4 years away from the bigs. He looks to be developing as most would or could have hoped for. Just needs to shore up his defensive play, the offence is there. He may even get a few games this year. I won't go as far as to say he's a career NHL'er or AHL'er, but he's definitely not to the point of being labelled a bust.

Would anyone have thought John Klingberg would have been anything as a 5th round pick? Granted he spent a few seasons in Sweden, but he made the NHL 5 years after being drafted. They'd be kicking themselves if they traded him away.

Subban is the only prospect I hate on.

Mans ive said multiple times, I like him. He seems like a positive good guy to have around the room.

I just don't like him as a hockey player on the Canucks and I really don't think he will make it here.

From the way the team is being built, I believe JB thinks the same.

Edit:

ps.  The only team I hate more than the flames, are the habs.  And soon be to nordiques.

First pro season and he's a big old bust even after having a 36 pt rookie season in the AHL. Yes he needs to work on his defense and no he's not going to to be a top defenseman in the nhl but why write him off as a horse jockey.  There is no reason to hate on him unless your a small minded idiot who thinks because he's too small. They are developing him the right way and not rushing him. I look forward to seeing him get some pre season games in this year

While I think he has a lot to prove, I think he also has a lot of positives as a hockey player. Juolevi may be higher up on the depth chart but Subban may very well prove to us that he can make it as an offensive d-man. Only time will tell with that.

I don't really see the point in hating on him though. He's a prospect that may or may not make it, just like most of the prospects we have.
