The Ottawa Senators have signed John Michael Liles to a 1 year deal worth 1.5M. The Ottawa Senators have signed Joonas Kemppainen to a 2 year deal worth 955K per year. The Ottawa Senators have signed Raman Hrabarenka to a 2 year deal worth 825K per year. We are very excited to announce these 4 acquisitions. Pierre is a great 4th line player with good PK ability and will be a nice fit on our 4th line LW. Getting a guy like JM Liles this late in UFA for the price we got him for is what we believe to be a bargain, J.M. will be a tremendous fit on our bottom-pair with Johnny Oduya. Joonas is expected to be a lead candidate for a role on the Bruins IRL and we will give him the same opportunity here. Raman is a very solid defensive prospect who already has had a taste of NHL action and we expect his development to continue to trend upward. Very excited to have Jordan Weal come up. After having a terrific season last year in the AHL and the departure of Mike Richards in Los Angeles, Weal is expected to see full time this season. So definitely looking forward to see what he brings to the table. The Hurricanes have also placed both their goaltenders and Jan Kostalek into their ELC slides.
