Man oh man... If you own GNUS then get ready for the ride this week.. It's going to shoot the moon.

It's at $5.94 USD now. Think it's still a good buy? How high do you expect it to go?

3 things here.  Within 10 days or less GNUS/Kartoon will air on over 100 million TVs in America alone and over 200 million devices.  They hold patent/copyright to the LAST ever created Stan Lee project (involving kids) there are massive toy and TV deals in place and their Kartoon platform is expected to be picked up by Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and potentially Disney+

How high?  Some think $22 by July is not far off and some are even wondering if Dinsey will offer to buy them outright.  They're the next big thing in kids entertainment and that's huge

If Disney buys them outright what happens to the stock? Probably a dumb question, but I'm new to this lol

It’ll skyrocket in price instantaneously then disappear once the acquisition (hypothetically) is completed and they’re part of Disney. And Disney’s stock will get a bump.

When ONEX bought WestJet, WestJet stock jumped from the mid teens to 32$ I believe in a matter of minutes. And now the wjet ticker can’t be found anywhere (but you can trade Onex)

I've never been so indecisive on what to put money into tomorrow. It astonishes me.... Everything will be green on Monday....

Obviously Oil will be the talk of the town this week..

Originally I really liked RDS.A (Shell) but then I really liked VET and then I pivoted to CJJD and then to AZUL...

At this moment I don't know to be honest.. My alarm is set for 4:45am for the 5am pre-market on TD. I will just have to assess in the morning to see what's where.

Oh and POAI will probably hit $4-$5 within a month but I don't have the patients for it..

Edit: Check out CJJD's textbook flagpoll on Friday... So sexy... (Flagpools are very very very bullish)

This is not investment advice. Don't just put money into the below, do your own DD. This week presents a lot of great opportunities in almost every sector, especially oil as Ari mentioned above. Here's some lesser known players I'm watching:

1. BETZ - new ETF that hit the market late last week. Cat's still relatively in the proverbial bag. The ETF includes draft kings, GAN, and PENN to name some big players in this ETF. With the NHL and NBA coming back, golf returning soon, nascar, ufc, etc. and the NFL eventually in September, not to mention casinos opened up last Thursday, look for this ETF to grow.

2. BIOC - biotech company that is making moves in the cancer world, but will be announcing their plans to help fight COVID pretty soon. They announced their move of offices to San Diego last week as they are expanding and need more space.

3. CCH Collier Creek Holdings will be taking Utz Quality Foods public. Utz is a 99 year old family run snacking company. Value of 1.56 billion at time of merger.

4. COTY is in talks to partner with Kim Kardashian on a line. When they bought a major stake in Kylie Jenner's company and launched it in the Europe and Asia markets, the stock saw a good rise. I will be watching for alerts on when/if the Kim K partnership gets announced, as the value of Coty short term is to capitalize on the run up of the partnerhsip

5. CSPR - Casper Sleep had their IPO in February and have their post-IPO/hype dip and are now on the rise again. If you look at their website and affiliate websites in Europe, they are sold out almost everywhere. Everyone needs mattresses and comfy bed spreads.

6. FRSX announced thermal technology patent late in the week last week on Friday. They had a great run up followed by a big sell off by the day traders and call expirations. RSI is sitting at about 50, and could see the swings buying back in. Price target on this guy is $2.

I'm currently already in SONN at 4.16/share and waiting for PR. Hoping it comes this week so I can sell on the pop. Stop Loss is set to a 5% loss. Low risk potential for high reward.

It depends on the arrangement.  Usually it involves cash and/or stocks.

Example 1. They can just say they are paying $XX per share.  Once the consolidation completes, you get cashed out.

#2. They can say we are buying the company, but we are offering XX amount of shares per share you own.  So if they say they are offering 0.25 Disney shares per share of GNUS and you own 4 shares of GNUS, you get 1 Disney share (which usually means a good amount of profit).

#3. Would just be a mix of both of the above.

Just a reminder to those less investment savvy.... some of the advice above are for those who have money to "play".  You shouldn't be staking your kid's RESP, your own personal RRSP or your retirement funds on this.  Certainly do not borrow money for it either.  This is all day trading/speculation... so high risks, high reward.

If you're some young adult with a little bit of cash to spare, it's not a bad idea to venture into this as it was be a real life lesson (potentially painful one).

That being said... for those with less risk tolerance and just looking for long-term investments.... the average market returns if you invest in an EFT and just do nothing but hold since 1850's or something... is like 8-10% annually.  If you just want to put something away for 5+ years... never be afraid to dip into EFT, consistent dividend plays and blue chip stuff.  I mean imagine if you put money into Google or Amazon 10-15 years ago.  It's not exciting, but still better than losing money.

Very important point, thank you. Important to stress that these are short term plays and with money that won't (too much) hurt to lose.. not long term holds such as google or amazon.

Why RDS.A over RDS.B? I was thinking of picking more RDS.B up

Yup, Im going crazy too on where to invest, especially in oil where all the drill companies are seeing a spike. Theres a lot high upside stock. So far everything looks very green pre-market so Im really excited on what in a few hours is gonna look.
