BoKnows
Made a couple bad trades. Shrunk my gains from 7% to just below 5%. I'm holding on to another stock right which will shrink my gains by another 2-3%.

BoKnows
TRQ looks good for a swing trade once the stock price goes over the SMA.

Do they not still have a patent on the protein technology that a lot of the current vaccine chasers are using? So theoretically if that technology leads to a vaccine for someone they should get a piece of the pie.. Just not sure on the size of the piece. Silver has been on an absolute tear. I like silver better actually because it actually has an industrial use other than on a tooth or a finger. Gold has been moving big time and the gold price is approaching 10 year highs, if the market tanks again I can see it breaking them but not by much. I have no other input into gold stocks but I know of some people who has been scalping the prices for some good money over the last few months

Silver: FVI: Just bought this about 3 months and have 2X it. I simply wanted some silver to balance the gold positions. These positions are now +20% of portfolio. Up 41% to date. Who knows where the top will be? I can see this being a hold for another 2 years. People are preoccupied with Covid but government debt is the real issue. At some point they will not be able to fund their spending. I expect gold to hit $3000 and go higher. At some point I will add.
NucksPatsFan
2nd slower day for ogen after an incredible price run, but still closed 14c higher than yesterday after tickling $2 in pre market. The BARDA anticipation is real. Tesla smashed earnings. Welcome to the s&p500. Edited July 23, 2020 by NucksPatsFan

I.Am.Ironman
@Boudrias I've heard a few people throw the $3000 gold figure out there. What makes you think that the all time high will be beat by an additional 50%? Are there pundits out there throwing out the $3000 figure?

A good indicator is when TD starts offering previous metal purchases via their investment app. The banks know something is coming

To much debt, to much stimulus. Deflation followed by inflation. Any panic could start the "bar" rolling.

I'm not going to lose sleep over it either way. It has been going sideways at 38.50-39 today I may just see where it ends up after today. It's already treated me well so I have no qualms about taking the wait and see approach Hopefully you didn’t buy at 38-39 range since it’s 33-34 today. HI5
What are your guys best dividend yielding stocks/reits that you would recommend for a long term hold, that I can leave alone and not worry about? RioCan is the first that comes to mind for me, and Canadian banks. I also have a tendency to go almost all in on companies but if I’m not paying attention I don’t think this will work, so im open to recommendations on diversifying strategies as well!
