I'd take Tlusty over Prust, Dorsett, maybe even Hansen and Higgins for that price. He essentially brings the same things less a little bit of grit for about a quarter of the price. Now finishing 5th on your team in scoring gets you just above minimum wage (Tlusty and Bernier). It can be even worse. Gomez finished 3rd on the Devils and didn't even earn a contract. They don't need another. Though at $800K, Tlusty might have been worth having around for 15 regular season goals...then if team got into the playoffs, you could have thrown him on the junk heap. On second thought no thanks...players who only show up to the rink when the pay checks are deposited into their bank accounts need not apply with CSE.
