Ghostsof1915
Always an honest hockey player. But smart enough to know that his body can't take the punishment anymore. Best of luck Ryan.
Odd.
Good luck with the rest of your life, Whitney. 32 is such a young age. Hope for the best of him.
DeltaSwede
He was an important piece for MoDo and it's really unfortunate he will have only played 2 games for the club before retiring.
Bob.Loblaw
32 and basically retired. Probably going to spend the next couple of years doing whatever the hell he wants. Travel himself to death.... *jealous sigh*

Bob.Loblaw
Yup. Made lots of money, if he's managed it correctly. I think if he was poor he'd probably just risk the body and keep playing.
Canuck Surfer
Good retirement speech. He seems like a good guy within these words... He was def a tosser reflecting from his ill comments about the Canucks, Kesler and Burrows? Coming from the integrity of playing for the mighty, uhm, Coilers circa 2010... Maginator
Too bad he never won a cup. I remember him in the 08 run with the Pens, then he got traded the year after at the deadline for Kunitz I believe? Steady defenceman in his prime, too bad he had injury problems. Coconuts
That's pretty young for retirement, but when your body is done I suppose it's done. Wishing him all the best.
