pmalina
Czech winger Petr Klima (he is 50 now) who scored more than 300 reagular season goals in the NHL has twins, Kevin and Kelly. They both play hockey and were born on the June 5th, 1997. They were eligible for the 2015 NHL draft but were not selected. This season they play in the QMJHL for Moncton Wildcats and have a great start to the season. They both lead scoring of the team so far. They both seem undersized but with the hockey skill and sense from their father, I think it is quite interesting duo to watch this season. What do you think? Do you know more about them? TheRussianRocket.
Great players. Have a friend who scouts for the Moncton Wildcats and all he's been talking about. He was actually one of the initial guys who brought up the idea of signing these two and eventually after some convincing, management took a flyer and him and his fellow scouts look like geniuses lol. Only knock is they're small sized (not really but what people 'complain about') but the way the game is transforming now (skill > size), they are succeeding and exceeding. Still time to grow as they're just teens but man, do they ever have a knack for scoring. Offensively, great players and they take care of themselves in the defensive end as well. Pretty stocky actually given their height. 175lbs @ 5'9", that's pretty much pushing it a bit and perfect for their frame. Definitely 2 kids worth an NHL club taking notice for. Hadn't followed since the Q got underway but remember pre-season and camp, all he was raving about. Not surprised though as the Wildcats have a talent of getting these undersized forwards and finding a way for them to dive into their offensive potential and producing. Tkachev/Garland/the twins/etc...pro teams should be taking notice. Way the league is trending (look at Tyler Johnson), these are players if given a chance can run with it and absolutely raise eyebrows. Amazing talents. Edit: TJohsnon 5'9", Gaudreau 5'9", Louis 5'8", Desharnais 5'7", Zuccarello 5'7", Atkinson 5'7", Gionta 5'7" etc...are all noteworthy forwards in the NHL right now and they don't have a problem at all or aren't restricted in their contributions given the smaller frame. They have the skill and fit, that's the bottom line. 5'9" isn't bad at all considering guys that height in the NHL and seems lately there have been a lot of players entering at 5'10" who are were considered risks but proved the doubters wrong. And it's not like the Klima's twins are given special praise or a free pass because they're twins and the height and all that; no. They are 2 very smart players and offensively, man are they dynamic. I'm certain if they and guys like Tkachev/Garland were given a chance, they'd have successful NHL careers without a doubt. People have to realize size does not limit a players ability to be effective in their strengths and most likely an "undersized" player is gifted offensively, it does not prevent him from scoring. -AJ-
Look pretty good. May be worth late-round draft picks. Remarkably, they're the exact same height and weight according to your sources.

TheHitman
Why'd they do so bad in London? Probably not acclaimated to the style of play yet and put in the wrong positions. Canucks should definitely go after these two.
Ilya Mikheyev
I think it'd be interesting to have them around training camp if they make it to free agency, but after wasting a draft pick on Vesterholm, I don't think the Canucks should draft them on the basis that they're twins. Ilya Mikheyev
Two players on a line that are 5'9 is extremely risky in the NHL. They'll get destroyed by elite checking lines.
