Langdon Algur
With the amount of new talent set to enter the NHL this year it looks like 2015-16 could be the season of the rookie. While Connor McJesusDavid is getting the most attention and is an early favourite for the Calder we have seen other less well knoen rookies surpise (Mark Stone) in the recent past. So the purpose of the poll is simple, which rookie do you think will get the most points this NHL season. Feel free to post your rookie point projections as well and if you vote other please say who. Langdon Algur
I voted for McJesus, but "18 year old" Sam Bennett could perform the role of anti-christ and beat him out.

Langdon Algur
In a related topic, has anyone heard if Buffalo is going to go with two rookie centres for their top 6? Should be interesting. With O'Reiley, Ennis and Legwant I'm not sure if they will have room for Sam Rienhart.
Canuck Surfer
^^ I would not be surprised to see Reinhart held back another year? Is Pastrnak still considered a rookie?
thejazz97
^^ I would not be surprised to see Reinhart held back another year? Is Pastrnak still considered a rookie? I'd heard it was O'Reilly-Eichel-Reinhart as their top 3 centers. O'Reilly can play wing if necessary, as can Reinhart. And no, Pasternak is not a rookie anymore. BCNeil
This year will be McDavid. Some years you never know and get a surprise. You also have to consider that the Oilers are expected to gain 30-35 points in the standings. McDavid will be given credit for a good deal of that. Eichel might come close in scoring, but if the Sabres get 70 points he loses.
