cleowin Posted January 29, 2016 Author Share Posted January 29, 2016 Basically, the magic number for each team other than van represents the combos of wins for van plus losses needed by other teams for them to hit 0. Once a team hits 0, vancouver finishes ahead of them. To clinch a playoff birth, vancouver has to either have 4 teams in the pacific reach 0, or 6 in the west hit 0.
