Nucker 67
Someone needs to do a drug test on that boy. He crosses the line too often, and one day he's seriously going to hurt another player. It's one thing to play physical and make clean hits, but he targets players and charges them from across the ice, often attacking from behind or blind-siding. Coward. johngould21
Except... Dorsett served it like a punching bag. Hes too small = d I don't think either of them landed anything major. All of Dorsett's fighting partners are larger than him. Teams know that Prust and Dorsett are on the ice at all times and won't let that stuff go. StraightFlush
That's the whole point. Other teams will know that if they play dirty, win or lose, one of prust or Dorsett will challenge. Dorsett may have not won the fight, but the message was sent.

VancityBeast
The goal was to take Ferland out for 5 minutes. If he was on ice, he can cause some damage or at least shake up to our 1st line.

DrJockitch
I don't understand why Ferklund is thought to be a clever or insulting nickname, more insulting to those that use it than him. As Raffi Torres works his way out of the league his replacement is working his way in. There are enough good players on the Flames to worry about. Move the puck up and let the refs deal with it if he goes over the line or beat the crap out of him. Whichever, no further response needed. soshified
Except Dorsett didn't exactly kick his donkey. Quite the opposite. Message? "We still overreact to your presence and don't have a player to answer the bell against you". Would have been better to ignore him. Actually taking him out the first 5 min of the game to prevent him from running around hitting people (thus gaining the tempo) was a smart idea. Squamfan
The problem with ferland was that we did not take advantage when he was on the ice. In game 3 if we scored goals in each of his first three shifts and took 3-0 lead he would not have played. We allowed him to play his game where we should have played our game aganist a player like him and take advantage. If theres an player on the ice know for his Phyiscal play the best way to slow him down his score when hes on the ice

Asserting tone of game and policing the rest of the way.
