BI3KSA-
Good or bad, the fact Benning is willing to make bold moves and actually change the team into his vision of what it should be is a definite upgrade over Gillis. Who sat on his hands and did nothing while this team declined into the California drub void.
Jam126
I swear just last week CDC was bashing JB left and right. Typical CDC...
5 decades and no cup
Worked out? Really, wow after 1 game the bandwagon is full again. Still a long way to go....they lose on Saturday and the knives will be back out pretty quick eh. Rather have the Canucks '1 game' than the Flames '1 game'. The Lock
I swear just last week CDC was bashing JB left and right. Typical CDC... That's what I find the most humourous about this thread. CDC likes to judge the product before it even comes out of the box. Because the packaging is more important that the product itself. Right? EmilyM
Wasn't the knock on Horvat is that his skating needs work? He wasn't supposed to have a big offensive upside either. It's like he doesn't know what his downsides are supposed to be or something
soshified
I swear just last week CDC was bashing JB left and right. Typical CDC... And Linden. And WD. And the Sedins. And Bartkowski. And Sutter. And Hamhuis. And Miller. And Hansen. And Burrows. ... Still Sbisa though lol
Mathew Barzal
There's a world of a difference in Bartkowski's play with versus without the puck. If he can work on his positioning and awareness I think we'll have a fine 6th/7th guy on our hands. Certainly someone better than the likes Weber. Googlie
Who is going to replace Weber's pp goals though? (and he, too, could skate)
tkoisthx
As long as our second line can figure it out I think we're in real good shape.

Alflives
Hutton of course... We skate faster, and move the puck faster too. Hutton's pass to Hansen moved al heck of a lot faster than any player can skate. I think we are faster with our feet yes, but we are moving the puck fast too. The Lock
Who is going to replace Weber's pp goals though? (and he, too, could skate) A lot of people can. I would like him to prove me wrong, but he's not vital to this team's success in my opinion.
Googlie
Hutton of course... yet to be proven - at this juncture might as well say "Hamhuis". I agree Hutton probably will, but after 1 game last season we thought Edler probably would too. How did that work out?

Canucks Curse
Out: Bonino Mathias Bieksa Richardsson In: Sutter Beartschi Hutton McCann Bartowski If u know about those players that's why we are faster
Alflives
Out: Bonino Mathias Bieksa Richardsson In: Sutter Beartschi Hutton McCann Bartowski If u know about those players that's why we are faster Wow! When you list those guys, we were slow as molasses. How did we ever make the 100 point mark?
Baer.
Hartley sent Ferland out to hunt Hutton and McCann. That's all he is. Their good squad couldn't keep up with squat.
mbal23
The one thing I want to know is why are the Sedins slow at skating when they are by far the fittest players on the team?
