tkoisthx
Sucks. Glad it is just a hamstring pull and not a tear or anything more significant though.

Green Building
Rather inconsequential that the backup got hurt. Bad timing (not that there is ever good timing - except Salo a few years ago worked out pretty well) as he had a strong pre season and I hoped he would ride that through October with at least one start on either the 12th or 13th, and another on either the 29th or 30th. Ilya Mikheyev
Sucks for his development, but good for Cannata's development, and Bachman can hold the fort in terms of playing a back-up role. If he's around for the 2nd half of the season, plus the playoffs, he can still get lots of games in. Hope for the best.

The Lock
Watch Bachman steal the show. It could be like our quarterback situation with the Lions where we keep finding new quarterbacks and the rest of the CFL ends up with former Lion quarterbacks as their starters... Green Building
And Higgins right now is pretty timely.. This is true, and although I would never celebrate it I will certainly enjoy watching the rookies play until Benning is forced to make decisions on what to do with Higgins' return. We have back to back games twice this month, and what if Miller goes down now? It's called crossing that bridge when you get there. I am starting to think that people lead very insulated lives. Why worry about something that might never happen?

The Lock
Forces Miller to play all games - hardly inconsequential Forces? Not really. He may end up with more games to start, but he's not forced to play those games as they still have a backup. Bachman might even get at least a game or 2 in. I guess we'll find out. Kevin Biestra
I'd lmao if Bachman came in and was stellar. Not that far-fetched. He's a capable backup and a capable backup is more than capable of playing good NHL hockey for a stretch. Was it Boucher that got 5 shutouts in a row a few years back?
