soshified
Hrudey just said Bartowski had a great "two" games- was Heceven watching this game? Bartiwski caused both goals!!! Hamhuis caused the second one by hitting Bartkowski.

bigbadcanucks
Very disappointed in him. Not me...I have had a serious hate-on for Radim Casper Vrbata since last April. I don't expect anything from him other than to have JB ship his soft @$$ out of town sooner than later. I'll be shocked if the Canucks can get a second round pick for this soft, over-the-hill, euro-blob anytime during the season. Can't wait to see him out of Vancouver. Ilya Mikheyev
So...did Hiller stand on his head (I missed most of the game) or did the Canucks just make him look good? He made some nice saves, but there weren't that many chances. Not an outstanding night for him, but he played good hockey.

slaythedragon
Suter was terrible on the play and miller blew that... Miller didnt blow anything. He was stellar tonight. Sutter yea bad play, but everyone has those. Atleast we got a point out of this and that was lucky.
Jack Fig
5 goals = Hamilton, Horvat, McCann, Monahan, Gaudreau. The next decade of Flames/Canucks hockey should be a lot of fun.
-NucksFan
Vrbata out, Virtanen in. Is Vrbata even playing actually? Guy looks disinterested unless he has the puck Ya the only time I noticed Virbata come alive was with the 3 on
Moose43
Ya the only time I noticed Virbata come alive was with the 3 on 3 I didn't think Vrbata was that bad, just didn't have any chemistry with his linemates, would like to see him switch with Burrows, but doubt he ends up on the third line... DollarAndADream
Miller kept the Canucks in that one. Great work by McCann getting his first goal, and Horvat for capitalizing on that PP goal with little room. We almost won that one as well, with the huge save on Daniel in OT. Grape
So...did Hiller stand on his head (I missed most of the game) or did the Canucks just make him look good? Hiller was good. Made a few nice saves and a few clutch ones as well. Hank to Danny has been robbed twice already the first two games.

Tortorella's Rant
Go get your eyes checked. So many nice passes, lots of shots and even some impressive steals and defensive plays today. Quality > quantity shots. So many steals he recorded a big fat zero according to NHL.com. idk i never knew 2g and 2a in the playoffs is sucking but whatever if you wanna dump on that playoff series nobody was particularly good bottom line is he is with new linemates probably thought he would be playing with the Sedins it will effect him just like any other player why don't we talk about Burrows making 4.5 million being an effective 3rd liner? i love the guy but for 4.5 million that is an expensive 3rd line with just him on it One of those was an empty netter. Great, but anyone here who's not completely uncoordinated could do that as well. Look beyond the score sheet - effort was lackluster. Someone here already backed that up. And I know because I bitched about it at the time.

Not that he was horrible just kind of lacking any life out there If he gets moved it'll be back with the twins it's the only other place he would fit

Gaudette Celly
Exactly. The flames have an easy target star. Should target him with as many cheap shots and huge hits as possible. You know Hartley would have Dorsett and Prust tag-teaming him non-stop.
