[Signing} John Tortorella signs with Columbus

Good-bye, CBJ 2015-16 season.

Hello, Auston Matthews.

How so? With the new rules -- even if Columbus finishes dead last, hardly a sure thing -- they'd have only a 20% chance of landing the 1st overall.

Thanks, CBJ, for the 2nd round freebie. Enjoy your over-the-top quote machine. Wonder what the over/under is for the screaming lunatic to finish the year. Hope the Jackets didn't go 5 years. (Tortorella's agent must be #1 in the NHL.)

It'll be interesting to see how/if he gels with Ryan Johansen.

Regardless, glad we get a 2nd round pick because we've blown a lot of ours which could have landed us good players. Baertschi, a current 4th liner for a 2nd who ended up being Kylington, and the same can be said for Vey as well as the value in the Bonino-Sutter trade.

Baertschi >> Andersson

Sutter >>> Bonino

Some of you people continue to overvalue players we didn't draft.

Hopefully he makes Ryan Johansen want out. Although I doubt Benning would pull the trigger unless both Sedins retire tomorrow. Just re-signed Sutter not trading him.

We`ll see what happens when he becomes an RFA.

If he only signs a 2 year extension it will be pretty obvious what his intentions are.

we don't get to see him play much.  i know he's big, a centre, and gets points.  Is he defensively responsible?

would Columbus trade him?

would they take?
