Tre Mac
I cannot picture Linden saying 'cut their nuts off'. 'Well Mr. Burke sir, my job is to humanly remove the testicles of said cattle.' Has Linden ever swore?

homersexual
Coming from Burkie, this story is probably partially correct.

Tigs
This is awesome! On a side note... why do they cut of the testicles?Makes the males less aggressive - they don't fight each other when they're being fed for beef etc. Also, you don't want just any male breeding with the females. There are bulls bought specifically for breeding purposes.

ButcherG
This is awesome! On a side note... why do they cut of the testicles? Its the same idea with all male animals that are going to be sold as meat. The idea is that the meat is more tender and tastes better. -DLC-
Love this. It's these types of stories, in the makeup of NHL history, that really keep me interested. Can't get enough of this stuff (which is why I keep going back to NHL books when I find time to read). Puts a human side to it all...these aren't just athletes and superstars, they're people. Ordinary people who get to do extraordinary things. Having a rough go, needed a feel good story like this. Thanks. Two thumb up.
