Grenier has been recalled and shinkaruk sent down how does everyone feel about this? I got a feeling Benning is gauging the talent for a possible trade for a top4 d-man? Warhippy Posted November 18, 2015 Share Posted November 18, 2015 If he does more than sit on the bench that's awesome. been a Grenier fan since we picked him up. A lot of people wanted (might still want to) trade him with our RW depth being so shallow. But his skating is markedly improved, he is doing the little things right and is a big body with a shade more game legal edge than some of the big boys we've had recently like Kassian and Matthias. I don't think he's gauging talent at all for a trade because that would mean that Willie D would have to play these kids more than 7-10 minutes a night on the 4th line to increase their value. Dang if that would of happen he would have been a hero. Mike Gillis and co confirm again he can't draft. Other then Horvat that is. Lets hope some of these young guys look better next year! Our defence has been pretty shaky, so maybe he will make it better as long as he doesn't make any stupid plays. We're going to need all the help we can get at this point.
