This season needs to end already.

Hockey is like sex...even bad sex is great sex.  Same goes for hockey.

Sedins on a nine game roll...too bad that it's only translated into what, three wins?  Sedins doing everything they can to help the Canucks win...need the rest of the team to pick it up.

No kidding! I almost crapped myself.  it was 3 on 3 with only one guy paying attention to Edler and he shot it right at him.  What an offensive juggernaut he is.  Then he passes it right up the slot in OT while we are a man short and we spend over a minute defending.

I thought Tanev and Hammer played well tonight.  Bart and Sbisa were okay. Edler was careless and Weber was brutal...again.

As long as Special Edler is counted on to be the dominant number one defenseman, this team will suffer. Again tonight he proved how average he is and always will be.

Has all the tools but.......

This game needed Virtanen and Pedans physicality and grit.

Weber needs to sit his ass down, he hasn't done shiet on the PP and he's suppose to be our PP 'specialist'

Beartschi might as well sit in the pressbox if Willie D isn't going to play his ass. what was the point of dressing him tonight? 8 minutes, lowest on both teams.

The rushes die at the blue line nearly every time. He either loses the puck or is forced to button hook.

if we have a pmd the coaches should be responsible for creating zone entry plays to utilize that dman.

it doesn't seem like we know how to incorporate a pmd in our attack.

Youre right, we dont really know what to do.... i dont think weve seen a rushing D-man since Jovo.   They should figure something out because its a waste having someone who can actually make that rush up the ice.

Exactly.  When one of our D makes a rush, the rest of the players on the ice stand around and watch.  When the guy finally runs out of real estate, he has no options but to eat the puck or turn it over.

someone give Willie a pat on his back for simply screwing up Baerstchi's confidence level. LOL well done Willie, because Baerstchi wasn't playing so bad in the start of the season. Baerstchi seems like he is done lol Benning made a blunder move that made our rival land Dougie Hamilton wow. one thing I do have to say, how could it be Baerstchi was lights out in the ahl, Green turned him into a skilled player, remember him in the game against the Oilers! it was still a impressive performance, and even in the playoffs he had chances, THANK YOU WILLIE for screwing up this kids confidence, keep playing Higgins 2 points in 11 games yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! more grinders!

he was money with Ehrhoff and Salo. I think the coaching staff rely on him too much to be our offensive defenceman.

THey could have played better.  A little sloppy on the offense and an aggressive Dallas defense and penalty Kill kept the game close.  Niemi was just good especially on that game saving stop in OT.

A point well deserved thanks to the Twins who again lead by example.

Onto the next game.  Try to get at least a point in every game this road trip!!!

The Canucks played a good road game against a very tough team. The was close with lots of chances both ways but, overall, I think the Canucks were the better team, as the shot totals indicate. But Neimi played well. Dallas can think him for their two points tonight.

The Sedins continue to play amazingly well. Hansen was very good tonight and so we Edler, Tanev, and Hammer. The 4th line (Cracknell, Dorsett and Prust) also played well.

Baertschi was disappointing again, however -- pretty much invisible except for the penalty that let to the go-ahead goal by Dallas. (And occasionally we see him getting pushed off the puck.) I thought McCann looked dangerous (as usual).

Nashville and Phoenix were able to stay competitive for years by rolling four lines. And they didn't exactly have superstars up front.

Willie needs to find a way to squeeze offense out of the other lines. If it means mixing them up again, so be it. Right now it's not working. We have one line most nights, two at the most.

Well Nashville has a superstar goaltender, and most nights he was the one keeping the team in it. Phoenix was competitive also for the same reason. Smith, as I recall, was playing out of his mind in 2012.

I'm not saying I don't agree, though. This team needs offence and they can't keep relying on the Sedins to produce every game.

Seriously, Hansen has been playing amazing and WD goes with Higgins...

Probably wanted Higgins to make up for the post he had. Hey Willie, he hit the damn post, he doesn't have the hot hands right now. Ride the guy with the hot hands. Its like putting in Marky for the SO instead of keeping in Miller. Thats pretty much what Willie did by putting in Higgins. Horvat would've been a good too, hell the Sedin's are so hot right now they should've been put on. Probably score with their eyes closed.

Please don't make me cry...just thinking about Weber being our PP specialist makes me want to cry.  I have one Christmas wish...and that is for Weber to be put on unconditional waivers for the purposes of being released.

Baertschi shouldn't even be with the team.  If it wasn't for Waivers, he'd be in Utica.  He was gift-wrapped a top 6 role and has shown nothing offensively and tonight takes a stupid and untimely penalty when the team is struggling on the PK.  Hansen was clear in his interview how he felt about that penalty.

Agree on Weber.  Put him on waivers and use the kids from Utica.
