Rocksterh8
Ridiculous, Should be Edler sent down FOR LIFE! I'd take Pedan any day of the week over "nothing between the ears" Edler.

All I want him to do is go out there and hit, create energy.. I don't want to see his stupid attempts at being the next Crosby. Spoken like someone who barely watches Canuck hockey. Kenins found a roster spot because he could play physical AND provide good offence.

Yeah but near the end he was trying way too much offensivley

(which is ridiculous as he's a D) Instead he's back to the AHL and we get to watch the Edler-Hamhuis-Weber muffin clownshow. I thought Baer was probably the most effective fwd last night. I liked the look of Pedan though, hoping he can make the jump.
canucks411
FINALLY!! I've been asking for this for a few weeks now. bcb169 @bcb169 Nov 12 Can anybody help me out with #canucks R. Kenins... Why only 4 AHL games, injured? Why hasn't he been called up yet? He's a spark plug.

That's why he isn't on the team now, he lost sight of what got him to the NHL in the first place.
RRypien37
Pedan was given all of 3:54 TOI to show what he can do. This is getting ridiculous.

duc_evo
Where are not tanking, making the playoffs is Willie's goal hopefully Keninis allow Bo to play his offensive game.

Keeping Weber in and sending Pedan down smells like tank to me. Weber is awful, Hamhuis and Edler need some time in the press box too.
Ilya Mikheyev
Don't really see how Kenins earned this over Shink and Gaunce, but hopefully he can get Horvat going. And hopefully the Canucks can get more than 1 shot in the 3rd period with a full forward roster.

Well Pedan is a defenseman who was playing as a forward in his first NHL game, makes sense that he was extremely sheltered.

Gaunce has been missing games, and is a bit "beat up" is what I believe Willie suggested a week or so ago. That aside, yes, Gaunce deserves the spot... VegasCanuck
We will continue to pull people up and down to get a better feel on their development. We will regularly pull guys up to practice and maybe play a game or two. All part of Benning's plan to integrate youth.

Sounds like you were not watching Canuck hockey this season...Kenins came to training camp and didn't hit anybody, and was a an obvious early cut to go to Utica (where he was a healthy scratch in some games) I'm not hanging my hat on Kenins making that much of a difference on the Canucks roster, unless he rediscovers what got him to the NHL in the first place...
