crazycry
I never really liked Weber to be honest. Hated him since the playoffs vs Flames. Stupid giveaway in game 1 and crappy defending in game 6.
Green Goblin
We should have gotten an undeserved point tonight in OT/SO.

Zerox
Props to Biega and Barkowski duo. That's how the PUSH should be if you are playing offensive defense. They did right, Hamhuis & Weber...NOT.

This team needs a wake-up call... ...In other words, a trade or two shipping out some vets for picks/prospects and continuing the retool/rebuild, whatever you want to call it. Wake-up call would be for management to make some moves and make it crystal clear they have a plan to move on from the old core and stop pretending we're good enough to be a playoff team. Cowardrobertford
It was expected really. When you topline is the only one potting in. Matthias, and Richardson goals were badly missed.

singing chef
3 things: 1. I think both Dorsett & Prust missed the real point of the message Benning was sending about team toughness. Their "staged" fights this game were totally meaningless; what was the point ? Save the "toughness" for when a team-mate is being pushed around, and respond to that. 2. It's sad to see how much Hamhuis has regressed since his Olympic performance in 2014. This is a player who was completely dependable for so many years, and now................not so much. 3. How can the home team be outshot so badly - how embarrassing.
pavel berezin
Well I'm not going to say this was a great game by the Canucks, but what was worse, for me, was having to listen to the Dallas Stars commentators all night. I swear if you put in a tape of dogs barking it would be better than having to listen to these mean-spirited jackals. Not only were they offensive to the Canucks, but they didn't even have many nice things to say about the Stars, which I think just shows their grinch-like worldview. Only once the game was decided, after the empty-net goal, did they decide to strut, and piled insult after insult on the Canucks, saying their veterans are "mouldy" and were "outclassed" and "dominated" by the Stars. I was tempted to write on the Stars message board but they don't even have one. If I wanted that kind of negativity I'd read the Canucks forum during the game. In conclusion, Dallas Stars commentators, wherever you are, go jump off a bridge.
NHTyrany
Low expectations = less frustration--didn't even flinch when the Stars scored to go ahead. Bright side is draft positioning. Not so bright is the way the vets are reducing their trade value.

They need to pushback when the rookies were being taken advantage of. This tonight was basically useless. Agreed, those guys are a joke

Slegr
Hamhuis has played bad all week... So sad to see his game decline, I've always liked him. Miller was great, Sedins great. Getting concerned about Horvat's play. He looks very tired out there. i don't mind the losing as long as the games stay close like this. It was still entertaining and this is clearly a rebuild year. Ginu
Well, fan's are frustrated for sure but what about the players??? I think we have been breaking every single bad record over the past two years or so. I'm afraid eventually players will just get frustrated losing so much and will just ask for a trade... YEGCanuck
What bush-league uses a 6 inch monitor to decide on critical plays and then lets Linesmen review it? Say it with me, the NHL.
