Man he is going to get such a big payday!

I predict they will pay him sooooo much that they will have to start a new bank, just for him...

The Semin Bank.....

Defecting to the KHL means the Habs don't have to eat his contract right?

Gosh, what a sticky situation

OK ok enough already

LOL doesn't Mike Keenan coach that team? Sure they'll have a great relationship.

They have some good players though..Woltek Wolski, Sergey Mozyakin, Jan Kovar.

Keenan got canned this year actually, but seeing Semin under Keenan would be priceless.

Had one of the best hands in the league, I guess he was forced into hockey and just doesnt enjoy it. Especially after he is already set monetarily.

Was hoping he would be the next kovalev in montreal, man the fans would have given him hero status.

Always found this kind of interesting

Great article, thanks for the link. Pretty much sums it up eh

Add in this beauty quote about Semin:

"Morrison said the Caps used to take bets on WHEN in Dec Semin would pretend to be injured, and how long into prac he'd lay down on ice"

LOL!

Russian headline today: Montreal Canadiens won only 2 of 11 games since Semin's departure: http://www.championat.com/hockey/news-2341511-monreal-vyigral-vsego-2-matcha-iz-11-posle-ukhoda-sjomina.html …

I don't think there is any relationship between  their slump and Alex semin. Could be just me.
