What is your thought of what the canucks should do? should we tank or consider shopping guys and pick up via waviers.

All they need to do is make sure there are deals in place by the deadline to pick up some extra draft picks and prospects.

i see your point and yeah  they should check out the deadline and see who maybe on the block they can offer for

JB needs to get busy and shake things up a bit.  No big move, nothing that requires youth or picks.  I'd do the Hamonic deal if it's straight across for say Tanev or Edler, just because he's the kind of player we need.  Otherwise, Weber and Higgins can go, and send down Virtanen and call up someone else from Utica.  Go ahead and shake it up baby.

people like you are why i sometimes can stand this organisation because of the fans, 94/11 riots .. because nobody respects each other or has sense of being 1 family in supporting a team.

There are rarely any NHL players who get claimed off wavier and make a good career for themselve. So when you say build by picking players off waivers we are basically putting up a lot of 4th line/AHL players

OP there are like 20 threads on this exact topic.  Not to mention if you don't understand how waivers work then why are you asking peoples opinions on it?

To answer your question, the Canucks aren't "tanking" - tanking suggests they are not trying.  We just have a really bad team right now.  Best option would be to encourage this along (trade away valuable assets at the trade deadline) and draft high.  This may have to be done again next year.  This will set the team up much better for the future.  Trading away picks and prospects for help now will ensure the Canucks don't win the cup for the foreseeable future.

Im not trolling, i tried putting a serious question, yet people like you have to rip on  me for miss wording something, that i realized. 

all i ask is for your opinion and i thank you now for sharing your opinion because thats what fans need is to be sharing opinions between everyone else.

 

there maybe other topics like this but i perfer to get some of my openions across and even see if there are other things anyone wants to mention that maybe not found in the other threads.

I didn't want to say it, but i said it cause i just wanted people to know that i realized what i said. also how would you feel if people put you down after you realize you do something? its like people who are black or gay, weather being in the 50s or now, being discriminated, they have to stand up to the critisism and thats what i needed to get my point across that i understood that i made a mistake with my wording

...and then Sutter came back and they went on a 20-3 league wide tear and... finished in the middle of the pack... again...

...and Higgins is still on the team.

Matt, please take some advise.  Cool it.  You're putting gasoline on the fire.

You need a thick skin on here.  Just be careful with your posts because, if you make a mistake, some people will take off on that and miss your real point altogether.

Otherwise, it can be fun and informative. :/
