Yeah, his request wasn't as publicized as Lindros' snub was, but it was basically the same thing. Funny enough, Ottawa benefited more from that trade, as did Quebec with Lindros. Berard wasn't a bum. He was a very talented OD with some D deficiencies that took a bad stick to the eye early in his career.
