danjr
I am surprised that no one has mentioned how much of a tear Bo Horvat has been on. The last four games I have watched have been amazing from the standpoint of watching him dominate. It seems as if every couple shifts he takes control and makes an unbelievable rush. If he continues to play like this wow things could get rather interesting in a season or two. A legit solo scoring threat could really free up the Sedin's. I can't even equate as to who is playing like as of late. Pulling power moves, great passes, great shots. Exciting. It has been tough for him figuring out his game....but if he has. Other teams better watch out. Especially if Baertschi has got it figured out. Now imagine if Etem and Shinkaruk can re establish some chemistry in the future. Future is looking bright not even taking into consideration for Subban and Demko.
BanTSN
Scratching the surface? Yes. Surface of what? We don't know. It's been a nice three games for him. Entertaining stuff. Hopefully he is able to progress indefinitely. Sky's the limit.
Mathew Barzal
He's realizing that playing like Dorsett isn't the key to success anymore. That's all that needed to happen. Leave the dumping, chasing, and poor shot selection to the plugs.
hammertime
Didn't Bo start to dial it up last season around this time too?
TU90
Even in OT last night they just gave him the puck and let him go on a rush. When he gets the puck with speed he's dangerous.
J-Dizzle
Someone noted that Bo was developing some power forward tendencies recently. They might be onto something. I still believe Bo has more first line centre potential than a lot of people seem to think.

Down by the River
Its pretty exciting to see him pick up the puck with speed.
canuckleheads fan
Bo and Baer have been great the last few games, which is fortunate because I'm not sure Hank is all the way back, and I think he and Danny are looking a little tired. At their young age, Bo and Baer have room to grow, which I think means they really do have top line potential. I'd love to see a power forward with Bo and Baer, like the Trottier-Bossy-Gillies line. Throw in Vey's improved play, as he's looked dangerous several times per game and the youth is being well served! Bravo for some fantastic coaching Willie D. Nuxfanabroad
Makes you wonder if he was quietly nursing some nagging health-issue? Kinda' kid that just soldiers on, confident that he'll make things right. Future captain indeed.
WHL rocks
From should be sent to the AHL to scratching the surface of greatness in 3 or 4 games. How quickly the winds of CDC change.
Winter Soldier
I find that most people who have been dumping on Bo this season fall into the line of reasoning that one requires the mystical top five pick condition in order to qualify for first line potential. Jaku
Bo is crazy good. We're finally seeing flashes of what he's capable of. It helps that he's playing with skill instead of chip and grind players.

elvis15
Well, there are 289 pages in the Bo Horvat Talk thread, so I'm pretty sure people have noticed. I mean, the HNIC panel was singing his praises last night so even if CDC was oblivious they would have picked up on that.
JoshuaGuy
I hope we get to see Virtanen given another shot on their wing soon. I don't think Vrbata really compliments their style and Burrows looked pretty flat on the Sedin line last night. Maybe try Vrbata up there again. That said, its the only line that's going right now. Probably best to not mess with it.

Probably best to not mess with it. Maybe the new acquisition, Etem? He's got pretty impressive moves and his style matches that of 47 and 53, both of whom like to rush and feed each other for quality chances, and Etem's got the size and thickness of frame to join them in battling.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnQ0OzoE_Pk (Etem dances Trouba) (he's got speed, the willingness to go to the net, the shot to be a one-shot scorer, and dangles to make Hedman look silly in this highlight pack)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Tt4m3aCHP8

Hey, someone who remembers one of the best lines of all time! Bo has a couple more years before he starts to show the whole package of what he is capable of. The developing chemistry with Sven is nice to see; maybe we finally are getting a line together to take some of the pressure off the twins. Odd.
I'll admit. When we drafted Horvat, I wasn't exactly to thrilled (not because I thought he was or bad or anything), but at the time, Nichuskin was the BPA and I wanted him more than anything. I thought that since he's pretty much NHL ready with that body and goal scoring prowess, him and the Sedins would create a lethal line. It took me however a short while before I began to hop onto the Horvat d*ck train as per cdc user Watermelon: Quote I don't get why everyone is crying about the trade, we needed to lose a goalie. I bet as soon as he turns into a half decent player everyone will ride his d*ck After that, I realized he could be a potential captain BUT THEN I remembered that Hodgson was touted to be our next captain till his dad. And ever since he's made the team, I became a huge fan of Horvat and absolutely love his explosiveness, his cele's, and his solid two-way game. And with him being close to where Johansen was during his development, I hope we see Horvat more than just a Kesler type player. Thanks Gillis.
