Wolverin1
So no hits last night? So, what are you paying Prust for? No wonder the Rangers were skating circles around them. They don't have to worry about getting hit. It's so annoying seeing a big defenseman like Eddler chicken out because he is afraid of getting hit. That's where all the turn overs happen. I think when no one is hitting from the whole team. Someone's gotta call out the coach on it. If they are going to keep our coach and his rookie mistakes, they should fire the assistant coach and get one with more experience.

You are right about too many of the guys avoiding contact, and doing the soft play. And yes, that's on the head coach.

We shall never blame the product on the ice. We shall never blame management holding on to UFA's like Vrbata who remain questionable if they will trade or not. Blame Willie its all Willie's fault, just how it was Tort's fault, now its Willies fault. fire the coaaches ahhhhhhhhh yes do it now!

1-d
Avoiding hits like a plague and fishing for the puck instead is just one of MANY problems this team currently has. Most of them fall on the players, but the total lack of "system" on both ends of the ice falls squarely on the coaching staff's shoulder.

mll
I am confused - is this irony? The Canucks were 25 hits for 20 for the Rangers. Edler was leading the team with 4 hits. Prust had 2.
Chris
I wish I could block Canucks Talk threads from appearing in my "Recent Topics" Section, Chances are people will still be crying about the same crap at the end of the month as they were at the beginning; only need to check it once a month. Threads become so. Damn. Redundant.

I like the coach, but it's obvious that he doesn't yet posses the quality of an NHL coach. I'm not saying fire the coach, I'm saying give him the proper support so that he can grow with the organization.

So he had 1 hit in every period. Woohoo!

So it's the coaches fault for the players not hitting?? The coach is not the one on the ice lmfao also as stats shows Canucks had 26 hits... That's a lot more than "no hits"
