asian player
He doesn't have the flow Chris has so I don't think he'll be as good of a player
Jägermeister
A smallish winger putting up less than a point per game in the NCAA as a 24 year old. He could have some value, but I'd say he's a definite long shot.

Hairy Kneel
Like him a lot. If he performs like his brother under pressure.. he might be a gem.

Ilya Mikheyev
Reminder that Brandon played in the 2011 Prospects Camp for the Canucks and was hoping to play in the BCHL at that time. swizzey
Love how scrappy this guy is. Reminds me of a little honeybadger that will take on anyone, throw his body around, and score important goals.
Chris
24 Years old, related to Chris Tanev, putting up some college points? If he's half as dedicated as his brother seems to be, he'll be a solid middle 6 player in 2-3 seasons for us. If he's willing, and we're able, let's see what he can do. alfstonker
If he looks promising (which he does) I will be surprised if Boston don't pick him up just to p--s us off. By the way he put a better hit on that guy than Chris has ever delivered in all his time in a Canuck jersey He looks like he's got some sand. Drafted big, pwf RWs a few years running to fill a need. Could be the next Burr. Two way undrafted gem. Hopefully Chris is in his ear about how great this franchise is and how sweet the west coast life is. He already knows about the west coast life, he played for the Surrey Eagles .... Another reason, besides his brother being here that he might be interested in signing with Vancouver

I would say we have the upper hand in signing him. The convenience of travel, the support of an older brother. This kid is so signed It's too bad we don't need him. Worst case is he gets to play in Utica and make some money.
LateNightBus
Did not know about Troy Stecher from UND, team mate of Brock Boeser, i suppose the important thing is that J Benning is looking at him. Would be a good posting on the Defense thread with perhaps a link to the Troy Stecher UND video
Kraken70
He looks like a solid third line prospect. Doesn't put up big numbers but enough to make a significant contribution. Looks defensively dependable, making him a prime candidate for the PK. Sign him to an AHL contract, give him a season or two to prove himself and who knows. Could work into a great future.
