If anything I imagine they were probably encouraged to stay close together so they could at least create the illusion of a large dense crowd from certain camera angles.

2-3 weeks ago Trumps base were claiming that democrats and left wing news were skewing camera angles to make social distancing in public places look non existent.

As a photographer I agree that perspective can be skewed but I have little to NO doubt that these people at his event were given straight up orders to fill the lower bowl so it looked packed

That pic is photo shopped. This is the original. Probably not that big a stretch though. I am fairly certain he didn't vote for Hillary.

Yet another musician (or in this case, the musician's family) is telling the Trump campaign to stop using their songs:

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/entertainment/celebrity/tom-pettys-family-issues-cease-and-desist-to-trump-after-rockers-i-wont-back-down-played-at-tulsa-rally/ar-BB15NiTE?li=AAggNb9

Personally, I think "Even the Losers (Get Lucky Sometimes)" would have been far more appropriate....

I also have to wonder why Trump doesn't use Toby Keith or Kid Rock songs instead....okay, I don't really have to wonder about that....

Well they certainly weren't going to play Petty's "Refugee".

As for the upcoming election "The Waiting" is the hardest part.

Yep. Waiting All Summer Long.....

Of course, Trump can't use that one either. Kid Rock would probably consent, but then they'd get shut down by the Van Zandt and Zevon estates....

Speaking of musicians, props to the Sabs (and Tom Morello) for this:

Black Sabbath is taking a stance in the fight for racial justice and equality.

The rock band is selling Black Lives Matter T-shirts themed after Black Sabbath's iconic Master Of Reality album cover. The shirts are being sold for $25, with all proceeds going to the non-profit Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, they announced on Tuesday.
Fans can pre-order the shirts, which don the band's purple logo transformed to read "Black Lives Matter." They are expected to ship mid-July.
The shirt's design was inspired by Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, who posted an Instagram photo on June 7 wearing the shirt alongside his mother, who was holding a "Black Lives Matter" sign.
"My 96 yr old mom has been a tireless advocate for Black Lives her whole life. From being a foreign student adviser at the Univ. of Illinois, to teaching in Kenya and supporting the anti-colonial movement there, to teaching African Studies and bringing a radical perspective to a white conservative high school for 30 yrs. . ." Morello captioned the post.
"Proud to stand with her today, as always, in solidarity in the fight for a more just and humane country & planet."
Geezer Butler, one of Black Sabbath's four original members, noticed the post and commented, "Nice shirt & nice sentiment & awesome mum." Fans also flooded the comment section asking where they could purchase the shirt.
Protests have erupted in cities across the US over the death of unarmed black man George Floyd at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis in May. Other musicians -- including Jason Mraz, J. Cole and Trey Songz -- have also gotten involved in the movement through donations and music.

 Apparently, the Trump campaign doesn't want to admit that they got their pants pulled down in public by a bunch of "meddling" kids:

After top Democrats gloated that teenage activists had sabotaged turnout at President Trump’s Tulsa, Okla., rally on Saturday, the Trump campaign fired back within hours, saying that media organizations are complicit in spreading false narratives about the event -- and that protesters and the coronavirus were the real culprits.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., specifically asserted that teenagers allegedly reserved scores of tickets for the Tulsa event online – then failed to show up, thus preventing others from being able to attend. "Actually you just got ROCKED by teens on TikTok,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote to Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale, referring to a popular Chinese video-sharing social media application.

A spokesperson for the Tulsa Fire Department told Fox News on Sunday that fire marshal records show just under 6,200 scanned tickets were logged for the rally at the BOK Center. The figure doesn't include Trump team staff members or private suites, which were fully booked. The president and his campaign had touted 1 million ticket requests; the arena's capacity is 19,000.

Parscale, on Sunday, countered by explaining the campaign's process for screening out false ticket requests, which was implemented after activists made similar efforts to derail previous rallies.

“Leftists and online trolls doing a victory lap, thinking they somehow impacted rally attendance, don’t know what they’re talking about or how our rallies work," Parscale said. "Reporters who wrote gleefully about TikTok and K-Pop [Korean pop music] fans -- without contacting the campaign for comment -- behaved unprofessionally and were willing dupes to the charade."

Parscale continued: "Registering for a rally means you’ve RSVPed with a cellphone number and we constantly weed out bogus numbers, as we did with tens of thousands at the Tulsa rally, in calculating our possible attendee pool. These phony ticket requests never factor into our thinking. What makes this lame attempt at hacking our events even more foolish is the fact that every rally is general admission -- entry is on a first-come-first-served basis and prior registration is not required."

The real reason for the unusually depressed turnout was apparent, the campaign said.

"The fact is that a week’s worth of the fake news media warning people away from the rally because of COVID and protesters, coupled with recent images of American cities on fire, had a real impact on people bringing their families and children to the rally," Parscale said.  "MSNBC was among outlets reporting that protesters even blocked entrances to the rally at times. For the media to now celebrate the fear that they helped create is disgusting, but typical. And it makes us wonder why we bother credentialing media for events when they don’t do their full jobs as professionals.”

It wasn't the kids, it was the "Fake media!" and radical left wing protesters that scared all the badass Trump supporters away.....

Sad, so sad.

It's a bit of a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario, though....

They don't want to admit they were outsmarted by a bunch of teens, but to promote that narrative, they have to admit that the so-called "tough" Trump supporter got scared away by protesters and the "over hyped" Coronavirus...

Either way, Trump's Tulsa appearance was an embarrassing disaster. 6200 people in an arena that holds 19k....in deep Red Oklahoma....

I suppose the good news for Bone Spurs was that he was able to drink water with one hand.....and it didn't take him 5 minutes to walk down the ramp from the stage. (I'm assuming they didn't install an elevator?)

Klass Klown Donald now trying to claim that his remarks in Tulsa about telling his people to reduce Covid testing to bring the numbers down, was just a lght moment.

Just another day on planet Trump.

Say something stupid and the claim he was only kidding.

It never gets old.

The dotard gets an F in situational awareness, an F as President and F as a human being.

The voters won’t be too impressed with that report card.
