no Phil they get it. They don't care.

Maybe. I think some are so enamoured with having more business and money that they are willing to overlook those issues or accept that they’re being lied to.

The GOP is willing to do anything to win, they will even dismiss the popular vote in many states this year, just watch. People who support the GOP, particularly poor ones, are wiling to give up almost anything just to have their guy win.

Kinda sounds like people in China who praise the CCP for getting 25 million people out of poverty even if that means losing personal freedoms.

It all comes down to "Owning the Libs". That's it.

None of the other stuff matters to these morally bankrupt dickwads, just so long as they get to drink Liberal tears....<_<

And this is where their democracy needs an overhaul. The fact that a party can actually do any of this is alarming at the very least.

there's the problem.  they don't actually have a democracy anymore.

in fairness to business people, it is a lot harder to run a successful one than many people realize, so I don't blame them for doing what they have to within reason.

But the idolizing of Drumpf is something really weird, particularly if you're not benefitting financially.

If the republicans were likely not doing similar actions I would actually sympathize with this.

I have zero doubt. I'd begin with Rudy's offshore accounts.

He is too stupid to figure out how to do that, also he can’t keep a secret!

Either way is possible. They could be telling the truth or they could be making it up. It's too hard to say at this point (which is also the problem).

TBH, if someone stole money that is helping Trump re-election, I am not losing any sleep over it.

And that's fair. Like I said initially, I can only imagine the full extent of what the republicans have been doing non-democratically to try and win this election.

For me it all starts and ends with voter suppression.

Putting a Trump loyalist in charge of the USPS and having him immediately start to dismantle services.....One Ballot drop box for a county with millions of people.....refusing to count ballots after election day, even if they're postmarked before that date....in a state where some counties have already stated they will count mail-in ballots last, regardless of when they arrive.

It's pure corruption and it's all being done by Republicans. Trump is right about the "rigged" election, but is his party that's doing the rigging....<_<

And the unfortunate thing is that Trump supporters will likely believe Trump simply based on "confirmation bias". There's no thought process going on there that questions the whole thing. They just go "republican good democratic bad" without willing to understand what's actually going on. It's not even about republican/democrat at that point. It's about a basic lack of understanding of what's really going on.

And I'm normally a conservative voter, at least up here in Canada, but if the party I normally vote for is pissing me off, I'm not voting for that party at that point.

The thing is....TRUE Conservatives like Ben Shapiro have ZERO morals.  As long as a candidate stacks the deck in the Supreme Court, all the rest doesn't matter.  **** the average voter.  **** the system.  Shapiro knows Dotard is a degenerate but he'll vote for him (vs say an independant) because of that.

The fact that the Republicans keep trying to file lawsuits on states that allow for late votes is alarming as well.

Maybe the laptop, lost mail, dog ate it garbage is all a smoke screen to divert the public’s attention away from the real issues like Covid response and the court challenges.

He's actually smarter than that.  He knows his audiance & plays to it.  A gifted grifter.  Watch him squirm out of this with a 'get out of jail free card' and the US taxpayers paying his bills.  He's an expert and letting other's pay his debts.  Would look great in a socialist party.

Of course it is but, even if the reasoning behind it was for good reason (which it's not), removing people of their vote would nullify such reasoning. Trump wants pedantics to be argued because, again like you said, it removes the limelight from Trump.
