Where do you get this idea from?

Well, and I will fully admit this is me generalizing, but a lot the pro-lifers I've encountered in my life oppose having their tax dollars go to social programs that could help disadvantaged families. So that's lead to me developing the viewpoint that for many pro-lifers it's out of womb, out of mind.

I don't see how you make that connection..

I have a question for those who still support TRUMP!!!

If you found out that someone was a b.s. artist (bull do do) do you blindly support that person?????

I'm asking because the recent trade surplus crap with JT and the bowling ball test bs are yet more instances in a long line of moments where TRUMP!! has slung lies and bs.   A president who put his name to a scheme that defrauded people (TRUMP!! University).

This was all known before he opted into politics. Remember the Obama/Kenya birther nonsense. And yet they continue to support him. Sad........

Hypothetical question for you and no you can’t change the parameters of this scenario, it’s a straight up either or answer.

You’re in a fertility clinic. Why doesn’t matter. You hear the fire alarm go off and start to run for the exit. Down the hallway you hear a child screaming behind a door. You open the door to find a 5-year old child crying for help. They’re in one corner of the room. In the other corner you spot a frozen container labeled “1000 Viable Human Embryos”. The smoke is rising. You start to choke. You know you can grab one or the other, but not both before you succumb to smoke inhalation and die, saving no one.

Do you 1) Save the child, or 2) Save the embryos? There is no 3), 3) is you all die.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Vanessa Trump files for divorce from Donald Trump Jr – reports

The president’s eldest son, 40, and his wife of 13 years were ‘living separate lives’, according to reports

Vanessa Trump, the wife of Donald Trump Jr, filed for divorce on Thursday, according to reports.

Vanessa Trump filed for an uncontested proceeding, “meaning she’s not expecting a legal battle over custody of the couple’s five children or their assets”, the New York Post reported.

On Wednesday the paper said the president’s eldest son and his wife of 13 years “were living separate lives” and that Trump Jr, 40, was “never there”.

In a joint statement, the couple said they had decided to go their separate ways., adding they “will always have tremendous respect for each other” and their families.

In January 2017, Trump Jr and his brother Eric took over the day-to-day management of the Trump Organization, the president’s business empire, after their father took office. Trump Jr has remained involved in politics.

Trump Jr campaigned for Rick Saccone in Pennsylvania this week, as did his father. But Saccone lost the election for Pennsylvania’s 18th congressional district to the Democrat Conor Lamb.

Trump Jr’s political involvement has brought him under scrutiny from the special prosecutor Robert Mueller for his role in potential collusion between Russia and his father’s presidential campaign.

In 2016, Trump Jr received an email offering compromising information on Hillary Clinton from someone claiming to represent the Russian government.

“If it’s what you say, I love it,” Trump Jr replied.

Trump Jr and Vanessa Trump married in November 2005.

A wedding announcement from the time, posted in the New York Times, said the ceremony was held at Mar-a-Lago, Trump Sr’s membership club in Palm Beach, Florida. Donald Trump’s sister, Maryanne Trump Barry – then a judge in the United States court of appeals for the third circuit – officiated the marriage.

Very smart of her. I wouldn’t want to have my husband in jail while raising children.

The crash is coming and your tax dollars will pay for it.

Seriously though. People should be outraged. But of course almost nobody notices, and nobody really seems to care.. you'll never hear ANY of the mainstream medias talk about this, they're all too busy critiquing or jerking off Trump, keeping you distracted, keeping you focused on the fact he's probably the only guy in history to pay a porn star to keep her mouth shut.

Remember that friend or person in high school who always lied about the most trivial stuff to get you to like them?

We have a tight knit group of 6 friends from high school, we were actually friends back to grade school. One of the group lies about everything. When we were kids, it was things like stuff his dad did or who his family was related or anything. We didn't know because you couldn't call them on their BS, it was just "that's cool".  He was funny, smart, fairly good looking (overweight a bit) but he never had troubles with anything really. He would help you at the drop of a hat, in fact, he aimed to please everyone.

As we grew older and started having kids and families he never changed. Golf scores (not cheating but how good he was), hockey (he moved away for a bit and said he started playing hockey) and when he came back and we got him on the ice he couldn't even stand up and golf was hilarious, always his off day. Not a bad golfer, but not nearly as good as his imaginary good days or shots.

His wife would talk with our wives and when we would drive home my wife would ask about why he lies about stuff even to his wife. We tried to figure it out. Was it acceptance, to be liked, the pat on the back.

He makes more money than almost all of us. He is charitable. People gravitate towards him and they tell him everything about themselves. He doesn't share secrets (that i know of) , he doesn't steal and he is a solid guy but he is a pathological liar (I think that's the term).

We all look past the flaw because deep down he is a good dude who would help you in a second, no questions asked. He had family issues growing up and we have kind of chalked it up to that, but the point of this is he seems to fit Trump to a tee. I am sure you can make jokes about taxes or bigly or sad etc but he really is similar. I think that is what Americans who support him see. A likable guy who lies about things possibly to get people to like him and for no reason but in the end he wants to help them.

Anyways, this has actually come up within our group. I am the only one with a real passion for politics but the others see enough and we had the discussion about how eerily similar they are.

You trust her over the Washington Post? No one believes Sara Sanders

Or have my husband do this right after our first child is born/adopted, WTF is wrong with this family? Seriously what the actual ****? The actual tweet has profanity, so I’ll just quote the non swearing part, you can find it on twitter if you want to.

Surprised his marriage didn’t work out since he was sending me DMs a month after his wife gave birth. (I tweeted a joke about pulling a muscle changing a tampon and he replied asking if I smelled bacon? Cool joke)

DM from Donald Trump Jr said:
