Sit Henrik for the rest of the year

Henrik went out injured tonight vs the Sharks.  He appears to have been playing injured for some time.

I think it is time for the staff to sit him for the rest of the season for him to rehab and get in top shape for next season.  Put him on the LTIR.

That allows the team to sign Nikita and possibly an NCAA player or two if possible without worrying about the CAP.  This also works towards helping the team lose more games to get closer to a top 3 pick at the draft.

Of course I do not think Dim Jim and smiling Linden will actually do this because I have a very low opinion of these two individuals and think they are both in way over their heads.  They have shown they do not understand the CAP and Dim Jim has demonstrated  a real inability to make deals or make smart decisions with respect to our Canucks.

I thought it was a worthy topic.

And it is not like you have many posts so what exactly is your point here?  Beat it if you don't like the topic...then it will die a lonely death because people like you won't respond.

It wasn't. You don't sit the captain unnecessarily and throw games.

Also, sometimes the join date says far more then post count. Check it.

Cry more little dude.  Lots of people on here have been around a long time and lurked for a VERY LONG time before they signed up and posted.  Go warm up some milk and sooth yourself if you are upset internet guy.

I wouldn't be against a few games, if he isn't 100%. But once he is 100% and ready to go, there should be no reason for him not to play, even when we're at the bottom of the standings.

Fair enough.  Sometimes being the stand up guy/team is not the best in the end.  The Sedins rock and don't want to ever give up but the Canucks getting a high pick this year would be huge for the teams future.

Usually if folks have lurked for a long time prior to signing up, they have much better manners and a higher level of intelligence when posting due to getting the feel of the place before punching keys on their keyboard......just sayin'

Better manners?  I just wanted to discuss the topic but the first posts are just internet snobs thinking the topic was not worthy.  I thought it was.  If not then no one needs to respond.

Those responding negatively are the rude ones imo.  Anyway no big deal.  Just a night watching hockey and looking at hockey blogs.

Edit: Henrik still out to start the 2nd.  I still think it would be better for the team if they keep him out and rehab him fully before he returns rather than letting him 'tough' it out and play.

It's a great thought but it just ends up with people peppering other threads with single word posts in order to get their count up. I've seen it happen on other forums. Utterly destroys the signal to noise ratio of a forum.
