Realtor Rod
Lots of Chicago fans saying head was principal point of contact. Still a massive hit.

two drink minimum
Love it! The Canucks need to do way more of that. Gaudreau and Bennett in particular

Mathew Barzal
How short do you have to be to explode up into hitting Patty Kane in the chest?
NotJaredMcCann
First rule of cutting through open ice: keep your head up! If Kane doesn't have his chin below his nipples, the principle point of contact would have been the chest. His face just got in the way. Clean hit. rizzuto&hatoum
Concussion or just wind knocked out of him? Should not have his head down like that. If Kane is out for a bit, can Crosby catch up in the scoring race?
hammertime
Hope Dumba is ok. Looked like he got hit hard right in the shoulder.
-AJ-
Definitely looks like the head was the first point of contact. He hit the rest of the body solidly too, but the head is clearly where he first makes contact. We'll see if it's punishable.

My last name is actually McCann and my first name starts with a J too. One of the greatest moments of being a Canuck fan was seeing a J McCann drafted by my team! Incidentally, it would have also been my draft year if I had ever played hockey lol.

Green Building
I watched the replay of a different gif 20-30 times and wasn't really convinced it was head contact. This video has this frame though, and the exact instant Dumba's shoulder glances Kane's head. Notice the obvious ice between Dumba's arm and Kane's chest. Kind of hard to argue the head wasn't the principal point of contact. It's too bad really, there's nothing I like seeing more than someone getting rocked with their head down cruising through the middle of the ice. RRypien37
Dumba looked like the impact shook him way harder. He fell back just as hard as Kane did. Wouldn't call it a "hit" on Dumba's part.
Butters Stoch
Hard not to make contact with his head when Kane is skating head first looking down. Dumba even tries to lower the hit to chest level. Shouldn't be suspended but he probably will be.
