Theguy
Now that the Canucks have officialy signed Rodin to a one year contract , what do you guys think his stats will be like with the Canucks? Do you think he will produce numbers anywhere near Panarin? Let's say he plays 82 games in 2016/17 what will his stats be?
firestorm238
I think he'll be more comparable to Mecha-Gretzky myself...
chon derry
his stats will be like- goals in the goals column, assist's will be in an assist column . since he's swedish there won't be to many penalties' in the penaltie's column.
Warhippy
He will be expected to be Crosby or Kane. Will instead be more like Higgins and people will pencil him in the top 6 now, and demand his head by this time next year should he not produce a minimum of 45 points
Industrious1
I'm guessing 30ish points with some powerplay time and an incomplete defensive game garnering a -10 by season end.
numb3r 16
Gets a 6 goal season opener and inducted into HHOF, predicted to be next Gretzky.
HC20.0
I see him being a decent third liner. 20-30ish points, nothing too flashy.

cuporbust
He will remind us of how frustrating mason Raymond's perimeter play was. Jk hes having a very good year in Sweden. Let's hope he comes here and does well
Dank dat hank
Since we like to overhype people sooo much we will predict 82 goals in 82 games but he'll actually turn out to be a career AHLer
Nucker 67
Don't have my hopes up, he doesn't have great numbers, and he's smallish.
Zedlee
Another low budget signing. One year is fine...produce or be gone. Only issue is I see Rodin is 5'11" 185. Another smallish forward, with no bite to his game most likely. When are we going to get some size and grit up front?
Hoosierdaddy
This thread should be retitled 'Predictions on Rodin -pessimists only please' Good lord people ... it's a 1yr deal. He was just named MVP in a decent league. The Canucks have a boatload of cap space and he's the 'right age' to help bridge till the young guys are ready. If he doesn't work out at least they tried. I'm no expert but I'm fairly confident teams have to take the occasional chance on a player. I'm hoping he's a 15-20 goal player ... if not, he's out and Boeser is in after 2yrs of college. <DarkGhost>
I remember him from when he was all shiny and new... lots of of talent and decent potential but seemed to be really hampered by injuries. If if I remember correctly he had a bad shoulder? Seems like he's doing well and figured out his game a bit. I think the transition from SEL to NHL will be a big one though. Im betting he plays similar to Granlund. Maybe hope for like 20-30pts on a 3rd line if he stays in the line up.
