MaxVerstappen33
Quote Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse Crunch forward Jonathan Drouin sat out Wednesday night's game in Utica because he overslept and missed a team meeting on Tuesday. Droiun's alarm did not go off in the morning and he awoke too late to get to the War Memorial in time for the pre-practice meeting. He skated in the practice, however. Tampa Bay assistant general manager Julien BriseBois said Drouin's suspension was for just one game. He will be back in the lineup on Friday. In an interview before Wednesday's game, Drouin apologized and said he'll make it up to his teammates. So... Do we trade for this guy ?

-Vintage Canuck-
Bad luck this time. The longer they hold onto him, the lower his value gets.
Lockhart
So lets say we get the 3rd or 4th overall pick, would Benning trade our pick for Drouin, considering that Drouin is about 2 years further along in his development which is something Benning has been doing. Drouin could step into our top 6 and help us right away.

Steve Y is really not all he's cracked up to be as a hockey mind He thought he would "Old school" Droin's bad habits out of him, not taking in to consideration that this is a completely different generation, and he's not going to cure it of self-entitlement. His efforts have done nothing but hurt Droin's development and trade value. Considering his backstabbing of Keith Priemaeu and St. Louis's bailing on them the way he did, I think Stevie is a lot more difficult to deal with than we know. Well, you said 3rd or 4th overall so I responded to that. 5th or 6th isn't much difference in my mind relative to Drouin's value. I can't say exactly what that value is given everything that has happened surrounding him in Tampa, but it sure as hell isn't a top 10 pick. I think JB has done not too poorly in his transactions thus far given the cards [and restrictions] he had to work with. Just like most teams, he's had some hits, and some misses. If he were to move a top 6 pick for Drouin on draft day I would be the first in line to tell him to get the hell back to Boston.

I could see a high 2nd rounder + 2 mid grade prospects closing it out. (After 2 fails)
rawkdrummer
If true, Drouin's stock has fallen and keeps falling. Trading away our high pick this year for Drouin would be a huge mistake.
