Montreal signs D man Tom Parisi from Providence College.

The Montreal Canadiens agreed to terms on a two-year, two-way contract with free agent defenceman Tom Parisi.

Parisi, 22, played 38 games with the Providence College Friars (Hockey East) in 2015-16, recording one goal and 15 assists.

Since making his college debut in 2012-13, Parisi appeared in 144 regular season games with Providence College, contributing 12 goals and 43 assists with 96 penalty minutes. Parisi also suited up with the U.S. National
Development Team (USHL) and the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs (EJHL) during the 2011-12 season.

A native of Commack, New York, Parisi took part in the Canadiens’ last Development Camp in July 2015 on a try-out basis.

Played on same team as B.Tanev in College

Is VC ok? :P

I heard about it this morning, never clued in that it wasn't posted

I've noticed a bit around Trade Deadline as well that VC didn't really post the AHL trades. He seems to handle the NHL deals. I think he has graduated B)

Minor signing that should go in the 'Minor Signings Thread', or at least in my book. :)

feel free to move it or close this by all means, i guess unless its a canuck signing it would be deemed irrelevant for the most part to us anyway
