If you can't spell the name correctly of one of the best D men in hockey over the last decade, don't try to predict a players rise and or fall....As well, Kane is not much more Dynamic than Johnny Hockey, look at their first 2 seasons in the NHL, they're so similar as to be carbon copies of each other.

disagree kane has 3 cups johnny none  they are not carbon copies

lol at Boston who could have had 3 players with absolutely massive years - in Kyle Connor, Colin White, and Matt Barzal, but instead took Zboril and debrusk who flat out sucked this year. At least shenyshen had an ok year but wow - missing out on those 3 guys, just wow.

bostons scouts should be fired for skipping on connor and barzal

Kane has

Toews

Hossa

Keith

Seabrook

BOWMANS

Not to mention one of the best supporting casts in all of hockey over the last 7 years

Gaudreau has...Monahan?  And again, cups are a TEAM effort, so the Hawks have 3 cups, not just Kane.  Give Gaudreau 7 years and a Toews, Keith, Hossa, Sharp, Ladd, Byfuglien etc and management like the Bowmans and get back to us.

Stride for stride, skill for skill Gaudreau is very Kane like.

In my eyes, Cam Morrison is the best player that could feasibly be available in the second round to the Vancouver Canucks. His size is one thing, his speed is another, and his skill is undeniable. His drive and two-way game are top notch, and his ability to make a difference in games stems from his assertiveness in all three zones. He's a tremendous player (you can watch him at the U18s) and I think he could be that home run pick, much like Travis Sanheim a couple years ago. If nobody scoops him up in the latter half of the first round, the Canucks should seriously consider taking him.

Would you take him over Fabbro should he be available?

Embarrassing drafting.  How they managed to reach past those guys is mind boggling.  The fact they missed White who they could have watched easily all year long is the most shocking.

Nope.

Fabbro is a lock for the first round in my eyes. So is Johansen.

If either of those two are available in the second round, they will be the best available.

-Fabbro

-Johansen

-Morrison

-Kyrou

-Katchouk

-Clague

-Girard

-Abramov

-Stransky

-Dineen

-Day

-Allard

-Fox

-Green

-Bastian

I would love to snag Mete, Johansen, or Dineen in the 2nd. Those are likely still there at our pick, and we could possibly trade down a bit to get them. It really depends on who drops from the first round. LaBerge, Jones, McAvoy, or DeBrincat would be amazing, but they're all first rounders imo

Ya Barzal and Connor were no brainer, I would have also taken Chabot at the time higher offensive ceiling than Zboril

That Boeser guy would've been a good pick for Boston as well
