Simple answer: No I don't want us to win.

Clever answer: Yes I want us to win, but I also want Columbus to beat Chicago and thus we can remain the 3rd worst team in the league.

Here is the reason this thread should not be locked.

I would think that over the last half of this year, I have tried to convince CDC to let the Canucks tank.

It is my belief, that it was pretty much a 50 - 50 split of who wanted us to and who said we were not fans is we wanted this.

This is a way to prove, how many actually changed their minds, one way or another!

So is the win worth it? Or does it matter to you? Who are really the fans.........personally, the ones that vote are, either way!

If you voted, you care...you are a fan........those that don't....well I guess you just don't care!

Again, it doesn't matter which way you vote.....you care! Those that are indifferent.............well, those are the ones that jumped off the wagon!

Not worth winning at this stage.

Better to get the extra 2% chance in the Draft Lottery of drafting #1... plus more importantly, the increased likelyhood of drafting most likely no lower than #5.

But the Hawks can't change their position with a win... so they may rest their best players and CBJ may pull off the win... in that case, it would be great to see the Canucks thrash the Oilers in good old 2010 style.  :)

I'd like to see the team win, but the team is worse off winning unless Columbus also wins so my answer is about the same as those of NHL'er, DontMessMe and VintageCanuck.

Actually, tI think we may be oversimplifying a little, since if Columbus collects a loser point and the Canucks win in a shootout, if I understand correctly Canucks will be in 28th (and 3rd draft position, subject to the lottery for the 1st round.) I think Columbus moved 1 ahead of the Canucks in ROW tonight, putting CBJ ahead on the tiebreak as things stand presently as well as a point ahead in the standings.

We should know better by the time the puck drops as the CBJ game will be over, but I see nothing useful to be gained by moving back up to 27th (4th draft) spot so hope they finish 28th.  If that means losing, so be it.  Really, though, I'd rather see a situation in which the Canucks win and still finish 28th.

Since It depends if they can win without hurting their draft position isn't one of the options, I didn't vote.  If Columbus beats the Hawks, I'd really like the Canucks to win.  If Columbus gets a point for a regulation tie, I'd really like the Canucks to win in a shootout (but not otherwise.)  If Columbus loses in regulation, I hope the Canucks lose, preferrably in a shootout after outplaying the Oilers.

no...we are so close to a top 3 pick I can almost taste that Finnish helmipuuro porridge.

I would love to see one of those big Finnish wingers on a line with Granlund and Virtanen...we could call it the Helsinki line.

The Furious Finns.

I barely consider Virtanen Finnish though, mostly in name (yes, I know his dad's from there).

I am always hoping for a 'Nucks win because anything else seems silly. I like my team and I wish them well. I want them to be successful.

To be honest I dont think it will matter much...I have a feeling we will be picking 4th anyway...but you never know.

Would that be the fourth line cause that's where Granlund fits.

What's the most you'd offer for Yakupov?

He seems inspired whenever he plays us; it must be the Bure connection.

He would be great for us, so many people think hes terrible but its not all his fault. The Oilers just suck at utilizing their talent. I would offer Grenier, Higgins, Sbisa for him, maybe get a 3rd or 4th coming back our way.

Sedin Sedin Hansen/Rodin

Baertschi Sutter Yakupov

Gaunce Horvat Rodin/Hansen

Vey/Dorsett Granlund Etem

Edler Tanev

Hutton Tryamkin

Hamhuis Larsson

Pedan Biega/Subban

Miller/Demko (you never know)

Markstrom
