I feel like this could potentially be the year blues can pull out the win. If you look at some of the hawks 5 on 5 numbers they aren't overly impressive. But st.louis just never seems to get it done , hard to bet against hawks however . This one goes 7 i think with the blues coming out on top imo

I think all dynasty type deals have a year where they choke. Blackhawks are favorites but they arent used to losing or facing adversity, ultimately this will be there downfall this year. Tarasenko and the Blues in 7

This is the year for the Blues to finally get past the Hawks. Blues in 7.

Hard to imagine the Hawks losing after their deadline this year, but also hard to imagine Blues losing yet another series to them.

 

I'm gonna say Blues in 7, and they will go to the cup final if they do win.

Are you serious? Hawks have faced a ton of adversity, remember the WCF against the Kings? Easily some of the toughest intense hockey in the last 10 years.

 

Blues are a paper tiger. Hawks are proven winners.  Hawks in 6.

Not really adversity since it worked out for them... Blues have struggled in the playoffs because they have gotten unlucky in early round matchups.

Adversity is not synonymous with failure. You can overcome it, and in their case, win the Cup in the face of it.

Blues always look good during regular season, big physical team with good skill. 

Once playoffs start, you realize that the only place they look good is on the paper.

Im just saying that is wasnt much of adversity. No one really remembers it as a problem because it wasnt really a problem

Blues in 7 vs Hawks in 7 is a 2 way tie at 30.43% hahaha

If you had watched that series, you would know that Chicago lost. LA won the Cup that year.

 

That series was far superior to the Stanley Cup Finals, and could have been the most intense playoff series in recent memory. Both teams laid it out on the line.

 

St. Louis can't match Chicago's goal production without opening up their game, which exposes a goalie like Elliott who has good numbers,  but is a beneficiary of a good defensive system rather than individual merit.

Blues in 6. I feel this is their year to make some noise. Especially against a beat up Hawks squad who struggled down the stretch. And if I'm not mistaken Crawford is currently struggling with an injury. Could be the game changer Blues need to "slay the dragon".
