I like everyone in the top 10 by Nylander, the last thing we need is a Shinkaruk repeat. I can't believe Benning would pick him over any of the 3 D.

I don't see the comparison at all. Nylander is a far superior prospect than Shikaruk ever was.

The only prospect that scares me that is ranked highly by everyone is Chychrun. Everyone else, no matter who management takes, I'll be happy.

Curios.. why? Sure he's dropped a couple of spots from the mid-way rankings but the scouting is all good isn't it?

There are a lot of smallish wingers that can score in the OHL. We need more size upfront and/or an actual top line D much more that this skill set, imo. We had it with Shink.

When I've seen some Sarnia/Chychrun highlights, I've noticed that he can be inconsistent at times. Often times he will look like the best player on the ice, then make a costly turnover or take a bad penalty. It's those kind of inconsistencies that can find him in a coach's doghouse very quickly or in the press box if a constant repeat. Of course all players make silly mistakes when they are young but that stood out to me when watching him over and over again.

I wouldn't complain if we got him, but I certainly would be more nervous about him than other prospects.

Alex isn't quite small though. He needs to put on weight but most players his age do. I think his ideal build would be somewhere around 6'1 200lbs. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being better than Tkachuk and Dubois.
