Bobby_Lu1ngo
Well now that the lottery order is set I thought it would be interesting to have a topic on what everyones Canucks strategy would be going into next season. So you have control of draft, trades, and signings. Lets see your gameplans for your Canucks. Must be a cap compliant roster.

My first game plan is to pursue and sign Stamkos before any teams beat us to it, especially those filthy Leafs. The next order of business would be to see what Edmonton will do with their 4th pick and see if Joulevi can be had at a later pick while accumulating valuable draft picks. Also talk to the Avs about possibility of getting Barrie for the draft pick if Joulevi is gone at 4th.
DefCon1
the roster would be: Sedin-Sedin-Stamkos Baer-Horvat-Hansen Etem-Sutter-Virtanen Granlund-Gaunce-Dorsett/Zaliwski Barrie-Tanev Edler-Hutton Tryamkin-Stecher/Sbisa Biega Markstrom Bachman/UFA (Demko in the AHL) Buy out Borrows, Bartkowski, get rid of Higgins, Miller and not sign, Hamhuis, Vrbata, Weber and return McCann to AHL/Juniors. Those moves will save a cool 20 million which allows us to go all in for Stamkos and have cap space for Tyson Barrie. Eventually once the Sedins retire and maybe Edler gets traded, we would even have more room for raises to players like Horvat, Virtanen, Barrie and Hutton. CanadianRugby
What the Canucks should do.. well it's too late. But what should they try to do? Rebuild. Sell the Sedins if there would be any takers. Trade Elder. He's not what he used to be ever since he hurt his back. All our young forwards that have made the team are so overrated by this fanbase. There's no #1 D in the system. Other than Boeser and Demko our prospects are bunk. Let's hope for a home run at 5th overall.
