What comic book would you want to see in a movie?

Seeing how the Marvel and DC universe is shooting out films as quick as they can make them. Which comic book hero would you like to see in a movie that hasn't been made yet?

I'd love to see Lobo in the movies.

Oops, wasn't sure but checked and there was in fact a Red Sonja movie in the 80s.

Hah, they made a movie called Red Sonja but not a Red Sonja movie.

It was so bad you have to watch it. It's like a Wiseau movie.

Basically have you seen Conan the barbarian with Ah-nold? That was a real Conan movie. Drinks, bangs, kills wears no armor. Buckets of blood everywhere

Now have you seen Conan the Destroyer? Red Sonja falls into this category.

Vampirella also was made into a cheap movie. I can't believe Soto and Roger Daltrey acted in that train wreck.

And yes it was even worse than Red Sonja.

Marvel:

The Man Called Nova

DC:

The Metal Men

Nova will probably get shoved into the Guardians of the Galaxy series. They already have the Nova Corps in there.

The Metal Men would probably be better off in an animated movie. They were recently in that DC: Gods and Monsters movie, which wasn't bad. Yes an alternate evil version of them, but it seemed to work pretty well.

Does Calvin and Hobbes count?

Bill W. would have a fit if that happened. He won't even be like Berkely Breathed and do Calvin and Hobbes on Facebook.

(BB did a great spoof wanting him to come back as an April Fool's joke though.) Watterson is notorious for being a purist and hates marketing or merchandizing of cartoons.

Just read this tidbit:

Metal Men

Perhaps the longest of the long-shots, the Metal Men movie is something that's been in discussion as far back as 2007. It's the most bizarre concept of the bunch, involving a mad scientist and his group of sentient elemental robots, but like Suicide Squad andLegion of Super-Heroes, perhaps that uniqueness is what makes this one so appealing. Warner Bros. can't be seen to copy the Marvel model too closely, so veering away from solo outings for traditional heroes and into this kind of territory might be the very best thing they can do for the brand.

The Metal Men have also just received a New 52 facelift at the hands of writer Geoff Johns, executive producer of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and The FlashTV series. If they're a favorite of DC Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer, it would be wrong to count the Metal Men out, even if there's been no public movement on this project in recent memory.

It's worth noting that the same Wall Street Journal article where WB officially announced the Justice League movie also mentioned Shazam (at a time when everyone thought the project was dead and buried) and...Metal Men. Don't sleep on this one.

Now that I think about it, I could see it work as a TV series. The only issue being production costs, as it would take a lot of CGI.

Get James Cameron on it, that robot cop they had in Terminator 2 was basically a villian Metalman
