Nucks89
What would you be willing to give up for him? McCann, Horvat? He's an elite first line player.
Spotted Zebra
Not according to Oilers fans. They wanted him gone multiple times last season. He's a good player, but very one dimensional. To answer your question, no way I'm giving up Horvat, Mccann maybe, but if he were moved, it's preferably for a defenceman.
-Vintage Canuck-
I don't think he is a first line player either, but a very solid second line winger. When he first arrived in Edmonton, he certainly had the potential to become a first line player, but overtime, the whole team struggled and so did Eberle. As for your question, no I wouldn't give up a key prospect for him. We have Brock Boeser and Jake Virtanen on the right side for the future, and Eberle would become redundant. What we're missing is a first line centerman, or a first line left winger. With the Canucks having the fifth selection, they will likely take Matthew Tkachuk, or Pierre-Luc Dubois, so that will definitely fill one of our two needs. YEGCanuck
To answer your question, zero. At $6 million Eberle has been seriously over-valued by Edmonton. To pay a soft player one million dollars per month of the season is yet another example of mis-management by the Oil. The Canucks do not need or want him. Phil_314
We aren't in a position to get him in this stage of the retool, so nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if a team like Montreal, who may have contending aspirations in the near future but lacks scoring, would want to bolster their attack with a guy like Jordan. IMO his potential could be like that of Phil Kessel, and that just might be the game-breaking skill needed alongside core guys to put a team over the top. However, with that reputed skill I wouldn't be surprised if he came with an (only slightly lower) price tag.
Jam126
Eberle has been ruined by the Oilers.

hlinkas wrister
I wouldn't be surprised to see Eberle have a pretty good year next season. He looked pretty good with Mcdavid at the tail end of last year. He might get shopped, but only for a D-man, and I think it's more likely that Edmonton tries to move the Nuge. Honky Cat
Eberle seems to be in a lot of trade proposals, mostly by Oiler fans, which tells you something ...He's a finisher, highly skilled..but also sometimes completely invisible...Another one of those players (like Yak) that Chiarelli is going to get less than market value for. -AJ-
His value has dropped significantly in the past few years. It seems as though he won't be the first line star everyone though he'd be. He's a first liner on a team with bad offense, but otherwise, he's a 2nd liner. His defense is also horribly abysmal and he's a liability on that front. I agree, due to his high $ contract I would say he ain't worth more than that, though if the Coilers would bite I would think it would be worth it, then we can shop Hansen while his value is high... higgyfan
Eberle will always be a highlight reel player; especially now that he has McDavid on his line. Unfortunately, he is a major part of the dysfunction in Edm and I think that will stay with him. The goals will come easy in the regular season, but I don't see Jordan as the kind of player that does a lot of damage in the important games. I prefer players like Horvat and McCann who have the character that pushes them to compete harder in those important games. They are the kind of guys that can effect the whole team and make their linemates better players. I would hate to see either of those guys traded for Eberle. Besides, the Canucks already have a sniper in Boeser; who also appears to have great character.
