BoChelor Party

When a buddy gets engaged, one of the first things that spring to mind is the bachelor party.

When Ephraim Fung got engaged, James Lewis, Tim Ainge and Matt Desmarais began planning something a little different – a BOchelor party.

The idea was as simple as it was original: throw a Bo Horvat themed stag in Las Vegas. A BOchelor party, if you will.

Hey, it’s catchier than a Radim Vrbachelor party.

“We’re big fans of Bo, he’s probably one of the most exciting players in recent memory on the team,” said Lewis, a producer with Global BC. “He’s a relatable guy in the sense that he’s having the time of his life playing for the team and following his passion. He’s easy to cheer for.”

For three of the four party animals, the BOchelor party travels began in Vancouver. Donning their matching Canucks Horvat 53 jerseys, they made their way to the airport on public transit, unexpectedly turning heads.

“It’s funny, we actually got more questions about why we’re wearing Canucks jerseys in late April in Vancouver than we did in Vegas,” laughed Lewis.

Four guys wearing Horvat jerseys, carrying cutouts of Bo’s face, had a memorable time in Vegas, including a stop at the Grand Canyon. Lewis tweeted their travels, hoping to catch the attention of Horvat and of course he responded to the shenanigans.

@JLewisGlobal Haha thats awesome fellas, enjoy your trip! What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

“That was one of the highlights for us! We got a response from Bo, it’s the closest any of us have ever gotten to meeting him.”

“The cherry on top would have been Bo showing up at the reception.”

That would have been a BOnus, you mean.

Congratulations to Ephraim and his lovely bride Sophie!

Just curious to see how many other CDC's now plan on having "Bochler Party's" or any other party themed after one of our young players????

Seriously!  Is this what bachelor parties are now?  I find this rather sad actually.

What happened to getting young Swedish Twins dancing for money?

This is why nerds shouldn't watch hockey.

The last thing I want to see at a stag is a cardboard cutout of Bo Horvat's face. I'm actually even more shocked that one of these guys is getting married.

LOL!

Guarantee the OP is probably involved in this, like how would you find out about this unless you are for some reason searching for a Horvat themed bachelor party?

Instead of boozing and seeing some TnA, these guys will probably huddle around the TV waving their Bo faces around.

This is posted on the main CDC page and all the Canucks social media...

I guess the Canucks marketing department is really reaching for interest.....

It seems like they're doing a thing where each youngster gets a week dedicated to him; one week it was Hutton ("All About the Benjamin"), then it was Bo  ("Bo Knows"). Maybe we'll see Canner or Virt  next.

You "McCann" be my designated driver.

Respect my "Virtginity".

good for them they enjoyed themselves screw the world full of bunch of superficial clowns.

That is pretty cool...

My wife is the most uninterested in sports.  But she actually put in her wedding vows that she will always respect my passion for the Canucks.  Her wedding vows!  Lol... And by most uninterested I mean she surprised me with Flames/Canucks tix for my bday one time and brought a book to read while I enjoyed the game... What a woman! Lol
