He will join Paul LaDue as minor league defenders in the LA development system. We look forward to seeing him bring his big bruising game to the NHL and keep opposing teams honest. This contract puts us at the 50 mark and gives us a great deal of depth in our minor league system. Any teams that are interested in acquiring depth for their rebuild should contact us. Unsigned prospects cannot be moved at this time without another unsigned player or draft pick coming back. TML GM

thejazz97
I think Montreal wins in the long run, but it's a good trade for a team in the best conference wanting to stay in the playoff race in as well. And Seth Jones is young, so they get him for a good long while. Good trade for both teams.

The Habs have no chance to make the Playoffs this Season so we have decided to move Seth to a Playoff Bound Team. We got back some soild pieces , specially the 1st round Pick and a high rewarded Goalie Prospect for the Future. Further Michael Stone is not really a downgrade . There are probably more moves to come in the next weeks. Pat Kane seems not untouchable ..... for the right Price

wallstreetamigo
The rumor that Tampa Bay GM wallstreetamigo is looking for a new AGM after throwing his last one out a high rise window is apparently false. The rumor came about after said AGM apparently interrupted WSA before his morning ice cream bucket full of black coffee to present the latest offers for star winger Brendan Gallagher and future captain Bo Horvat from rival GM's. The newly minted Tampa GM released a brief statement: "We are happy to report that our AGM is recovering nicely in hospital after a minor accident at work. We look forward to getting him back in the office as soon as possible. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time and we will not be commenting on this situation any further out of respect for his privacy." The team reports that anger management classes for the GM "couldn't be going any better."
D-Money
54 minutes ago, Master Mind said: To CBJ: Seth Jones To MTL: Michael Stone, Ilya Samsonov, 2017 1st (CBJ) Thanks to @Bombastik der Teutone for the smooth-as-silk negotiations. We've been trying to make a trade for a while now, and got multiple inquires into Samsonov. We identified a few players we thought we'd be willing to trade Samsonov for, sent out offers to the respective GM's, and came to an agreement here quite quickly. Stone is an excellent defender, who didn't produce significantly less than Jones in the past. However, the real life Jackets are also surprising everyone, and look poised to do damage in the playoffs this year and beyond. So we were willing to pay a premium to acquire one of their top-2 defenders. We are still active in trade talks with multiple teams. It's going to be very difficult to get out of the first 2 rounds in the Metro, but we feel we have a young team that is shaping up to contend for years. So we're not interested in rentals, or old players on the precipice of a steep decline. Two other players that we are in talks regarding are Alexander Nylander and Tyler Myers. Neither are guys we are actively looking to trade, but we have been getting asked, and for the right return would consider moving them.

It's just fun/trash talk - not an indication of ill-will towards you by any stretch - quite the opposite. But I'll leave you out of it if it rubs you the wrong way. I love trash talking in these leagues. I can handle it. I just don't think anyone wants to see our "serious" arguments with each other about Benning or Desjardins in here. Trash talk away man it's all good. Let's just keep it light ok?
