thejazz97
We'd like to thank WSA for a successful round of trade discussions! While we're sad to let go of our depth and prospects, we welcome Joe and Jack into our organization as we make a push for the playoffs!
Drive-By Body Pierce
How many teams do you remember, ever, trading a player in their rookie year while on pace to battle for the Calder trophy? I'm growing very weary of explaining how I am NOT trading Werenski. Please stop asking for a little while at least, please. I don't want to ignore people, but I thought I was pretty clear with an earlier post.

D-Money
If you can't get Werenski, just get his partner! That's what we did!
wallstreetamigo
Tampa Bay is looking to move veteran playoff players for young NHL players, NHL ready expansion exempt prospects, and picks. Richard Panik, Matt Cullen, Andy Greene, Jason Garrison, Mike Fisher, Matt Moulson, Jannik Hansen, and Corey Crawford are all players we are happy to keep but would like to explore their trade value. Young roster players will not be moved for long term futures, picks, or aging big contract veterans. They will only be moved if the return is an upgrade to our roster. Mr.DirtyDangles
Elliotte Friedman Sportsnet: Breaking news today out of the Mile High City........ Av's owner Josh Kroenke dropped a bomb at a closed doors team meeting on Monday announcing the firing of Hall of Fame player and GM Joe Sakic. Fans are reeling at the news that the veritable no name D.Dangler is going to take over the reigns as GM. I had a chance to speak with Dirty earlier this week about his plans for this once feared franchise. Elliotte - So Dirty, how's the air up there ? Dirty - Good one Elliotte Elliotte - Lets get right to it shall we ? Kroenke has gone on record saying "we need more goals !" "Fans come to see goals!" With the current state of the team battling for self respect what is the plan to climb the ladder of the league. Dirty - That's a little harsh EL can i call you EL? The boys are trying out there but we just dont have enough secondary scoring. Gags and Duchesne are doing all the heavy lifting. We need to target a pure goal scorer. Someone that is feared in the slot. EL - Are you actively shopping anyone ? DD - No not as of yet. I have fielded some calls but just getting up to speed and will be contacting Gm's league wide shortly. Along with some secondary scoring we are looking hard for a PP QB. If we can find that in one package great ! We feel we need to get going on the man advantage or we will be left in the dust down the stretch. We have bodies that like to bang and crash so we need to have some guys open in the slot for those quality chances we are so desperately lacking. EL - Anyone in particular you have in mind ? DD - Arvidsson from DAL, Silfverberg and Skjei from Chitown, Hoffman from CBJ, Martinez from PITT are all players we think could be huge for our team. EL - Well it sure looks like you have a direction to follow DD. I hope you brought a toque ! Denver gets cold ! Good luck the rest off the way DD - Thanks EL, hopefully I can manifest the fans desires and help build a contender in the years to come.

wallstreetamigo
Rumours are again swirling out of Tampa Bay. Their (too unimportant to actually have a name) AGM, recently released from hospital after a "minor accident" at work that left him with a slight limp, was again rushed to emergency this morning with severe but non life threatening injuries. At the morning staff meeting, which WSA could not attend due to his early morning anger management class, apparently left the embattled AGM drawing the short straw and having to be the one to deliver the terrible and unprecedented negative comments of commissioner Gary Bettm........errrr Captain Azzy. First responders were heard saying the AGM was awake and alert and expected to fully regain sight in his left eye.

An investigation has begun and disciplinary proceedings will be undertaken if deemed necessary. GM wallstreetamigo also known as John Tortorella's half brother, said he will cooperate fully with the investigation and that he was sure it would prove no wrongdoing in his part. He followed it up by saying the AGM - now reported by Sportsnet to be distantly related to Bob Hartley - is "a fine man and a tough guy that sure can take a punch. Or so I heard." wallstreetamigo
Tampa GM wallstreetamigo is open for business. While any player can be traded for the right return, Bo Horvat, Brendan Gallagher, and Aaron Ekblad are all considered as close to untouchable as it can get. It would take a monster offer to pry any of them from TB. Chris Tanev, Jannik Hansen, Matt Cullen, Andy Greene, Derek Engelland, and Jason Garrison are all being actively shopped to determine trade value. But any player will be considered if the return is a good one. While we will consider veteran players in deals, our focus is to get younger not older. A true professional even if he says I am unpopular (he has so far refused an in person meeting to "discuss" his concerns but we are very eager to show him our prized baseball bat collection!) On a serious note, Tampa Bay is willing to get creative in trying to build up our prospect pool and these signings reflect that. Tampa will continue to be aggressive in adding quality players to our organization.

Canuck Surfer
Before we get started tonight > we would be remiss not to congratulate D Matt Grzelcyk on his first NHL game! Got a hit and 2 penalty minutes & we managed to sneak him in our line up as well. Think it was almost our only points last night... Matt becomes the 28th player to get game time with us on the Bruins this year. And the 30th (David Musil & Tristan Jarry have spent time with the big club, but not got into game action) to get a call up or suit up in the NHL. Also the 11th rookie to get blooded for us this year. Amazing!
