pmalina
San Jose Sharks and its fans are delighted to have both Jamie Benn and Brent Burns signed for seven and five more years respectively. The team aims to contend for the Stanley Cup for years these star players are on board. However the signings will get Sharks roster over the cap for next season meaning GM pmalina should be busy. It is rumoured the team could move play-off bound players such as Ryan Callahan, Jason Pominville or Kari Lehtonen, even Ryan Getzlaf´s name is out for discussion as well. When asked about the situation, GM pmalina replied: "We must fit under the cap." That definitelly brought a light to the issue.
wallstreetamigo
17 hours ago, Captain Azzy said: On behalf of General Manager @wallstreetamigo, the Tampa Bay Lightning are delighted to announce the signing of: Justin Kloos - 3 years, $1.6m AAV Justin was an in-demand free agent and he wishes to publicly thank those other interested teams for their offers. Tanpa is thrilled to sign Justin to a contract. Turning over all rocks and aggressively trying to set ourselves up for the future with a high potential player with a game that fits the new NHL. Justin is having a fantastic season with the Gophers with 22 points in 18 games including 3 SH tallies and 3 GWG so far. He is a leader on and off the ice and his work ethic and compete level point to a lot of NHL interest as he winds up his college career. Congrats on the Gophers big win this past weekend in the Mariucci Classic. Justin played a big role in earning the win and it was a nice way to cap off his time at Minnesota as the team had not managed to win it the past three years. We are thrilled about his future with the Lightning and thank Captain Azzy for his always flawless handling if free agent negotiations.

wallstreetamigo
Tampa is looking to acquire a couple of younger depth defensemen. Depth forwards, prospects, and picks are available. Veteran lights out ppg producer Mike Fisher, extreme value caphit to production playoff player Matt Cullen, veteran D Jason Garrison and Andy Greene, and G Eddie Lack are also being actively shopped. D-Money
Columbus is in talks with a couple of teams regarding WJC standout Alexander Nylander. Obviously, the return would have to be substantial...but we're listening.
wallstreetamigo
Lightning Bolts - December Recap All Sizzle, No Fizzle F Jason Zucker - leading the charge with 72 points in December (a 5.14 ppg pace), Jason's sizzling scoring and solid +/- helped the Lightning keep pace. D Justin Faulk - prior to his injury, Justin was on fire with a 5.25 ppg pace in December. His offensive production, age, and upside make him a very important key to our defense going forward. F Mike Fisher - Mike's steady and consistent production continued in December as well. A solid all around contributor who is also valued for his leadership and professionalism. F Bo Horvat - this is clearly becoming Bo's team. His steady production and exciting style make him a great player to build around. His +/- is holding him back somewhat along with deployment. GM wallstreetamigo has said that an extension for Bo is priority one though. Short Circuits D Aaron Ekblad - Aaron is struggling this year and December was no exception with his 1.63 ppg pace. A key franchise defensemen for the Bolts, we need more from Aaron. At 20 years old with a solid history of production behind him, we know this is just a valley in what we know will be a career filled with peaks. F Brendan Gallagher - Like Ekblad, Brendan has struggled lately as well. 2.07 ppg is simply not enough from our top line RW. Again history suggests this is not anything other than a bump in the road and Brendan has been working hard on his game to break out of his funk. Where we are headed: Younger, faster, and tougher to play against. The Lightning are pleased to announce that young Bo Horvat has been named team captain. WSA was quoted as saying, "Despite his young age, Bo has all the qualities we are looking for in a captain. He makes the most of any opportunity he gets, he is a tireless worker, and he leads by example. I can't say enough good things about this young man." Alternate Captains were also named. With such a diverse group of leadership, D Aaron Ekblad and F Jason Zucker will wear the A's at home. F Mike Fisher and F Brendan Gallagher will represent the team in road games. D-Money
An unnamed source in Columbus reports that co-GM @Monty was seen storming out of Jackets' head office in noticeable displeasure. An unidentified voice was heard yelling at him "It's my name on the door, dammit!" Rumour has it that a franchise-altering transaction has occurred in Columbus, and not everyone in management is pleased with it. More to follow. PA has more than fulfilled the contract we signed him to and has shown he still has it, though when we see this team competing, he'll most likely be winding down his career. Ryan is a player we see as having the size, genetics, and righg attulitude to make the Nhl in a full capacity. Thanks GM Canuckledraggin for the easy and fair negotiations. Ny has also completed another trade for a young promising goaltender. We gave up a bit more than expected, though have followed this players for a few years and beleive he has what it takes and can't wait to see him one day take over for one of the bests in real life.
